Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in the agriculture field and also it has many scopes in future that's why I opted for this course. Faculty to student ratio is 8:10. Teaching method is good. The digital teaching method is also there. There are 2 internals and 1 external and 1 lab final examination.
Internships Opportunities
Seed and fertilizers companies and many companies related to agriculture. Also, there are food tech companies like Amul etc which hire students. Students are also provided with internship opportunities in places like dairy farms etc
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement from the final year 7 semester. There are various companies like fertilizer companies and seed companies that hire students. The highest package is 10 lakhs per annum and the average is 6 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 50000 which includes hostel fees food bill tuition fees electricity bill etc. There are many scholarships available for students. Scholarships for ICAR students are there and many reservation students get scholarships. There is a foreign exchange programme also
Campus Life
The annual fest for the College of Agriculture is ADAMYA. ADAMYA is conducted in the month of May. There is a library which is Asia's 2nd largest library. In the library books and journals and research papers and many things to study are available.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms has fan ,almirah ,bed ,table and chair . Two girls live in 1 room and for boys there is single room . Food quality is good . We are provided with breakfast lunch ,evening snacks and dinner . Registration for hostel is done at the time of admission process.
Admission
Eligibility for the course is 12th passed with 50% marks. Application forms will be available at GBPUAT.in and dates will be from March to April and the application fees will be 1200 rupees. Reservation benefits are Available
