Karunya University entrance exam is the one which is required to enroll in the college. And there are some Management quota seats as well

The course curriculum was very good for mechanical engineering, the labs we're well equipped. The course structure and the options to choose varies paper was another helpful thing. So the student can pursue courses based on his interest. All the required facilities were available in campus. The library was a huge one.

College does provide internship, but there are no stipend. But the facilities are free to use. And staff provide support even after college hours

There is an ample amount of placement opportunity when it comes IT industry. However when it comes to core industry placement the college had some struggle in bringing in companies. And the core companies also took very few people. But that was in 2011 I am pretty sure the situation would have improved now.

Fee was feasible. But this back in 2011 and the fee was nominal. Hostel fee is also economical if it's 4 sharing room and higher price for single room The older hostel facility is not as good as the newer hostel facility The mess bill also was affordable

Lot of banks offer educational loan, Good scholarship if you are a sports person and play for college team in any of the sports

All high level extra curricular activities is available. But there is a gender curfew but not very strict. Tech fest either department or college level is the place to unleash the talent. All support is given by college and staff for any competition.

Alumni network is there but not very strong. It needs to improve. Annual alumni meet is held at college but not very interesting

There were 2/3 internals which are compulsory followed by a semester exam. 60-40 was the external - internal ratio. The lab had one internal followed by one external. the labs are pretty easy compared to the theory exam. But the exam paper and correction are external

I took the Karunya University entrance exam and then there was a counseling based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. Post which the admission was confirmed and paid the remaining fee in some interval of time. All the fees were paid in demand draft and there no cash payment required.

I would say 70% of the faculties were highly qualified and the remaining 30% would be right out of M.Tech so the were also learning how to teach. However the subjects handled by them are more of self study or theory subjects. In general the staff were approachable even after the class hours which was helpful
