Our college management was very good and very helpful. Our college management provided us good quality of faculty teachers. Provided us good hostel to live and good hospital to study.
Entrance Preview
I have given pre medical test (P.M.T) Maharashtra state in year 2002.I passed pmt with good marks and according to my rank in state merit list I got this college through government quota. I choose MBBS to serve people and to make improvement in health sector of India.
Course Curriculum Overview
M.B.B.S Course is one of the toughest course in country. MBBS have 4 and half year course and one year compulsory internship. In MBBS course we have to study human anatomy,physiology and biochemistry.In community medicine subject we have to do research study about protein energy malnutrition.
Internships Opportunities
Yes.we have internship for 1 year. And stipend was 4000 rs per month.internship experience was excellent. We have treated lot of patients during internship.
Placement Experience
As we are in medical college we don't have campus interview for job.after passing almost all students got job in government or private corporate hospitals.some of our batch mates established their own nursing home or private clinic. Some of our batch mate studied for higher education and got MD courses in various subject like medicine,gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedic, surgery.
College Events
We have annual celebration of ganpati festival. In which lord ganesha were established in our college. In GFC festival we have various dance ,singing, fashion shows.we also have yearly inter college quiz competition in which all medical college in our region took part.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was feasible.as I got through government quota I have yearly fee of 40000 per year.we have to pay yearly fee and we always got recipe for that.we have to pay separately for hostel facility which was around 10000 rs per year.We have to library facility which was free of cost
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college premises we have Punjab national bank which provide education loan for study. We also have scholarship program for scheduled caste students and lower income groups.in our college we also have government subsidiary for fees
Campus Life
In our college gender ratio was almost equal. We have lots of girls students in our course. We have students from all states of India through NRI quota. We have all religion students. And atmosphere of college was very peaceful with gender equality. In our college there was no political association of students.
Hostel Facilities
We have hostel facilities on sharing basis room.we hostel we have good quality mess run by students association. In hostel we have good quality of drinking water,generator backup,24 hrs running water, gym facility, playground facility.We also have enough parking space in hostel for our vehicles
Alumni/Alumna
Our Seniors were very helpful. They help us throughout years. They help us in our study. Teach us various subject in detail.so also help in patients examination. We have alumni association which arrange alumni gathering program.
Exam Structure
Our exam structure was very hectic. We have yearly university examination. Theory and practical examination were held differently. And in between yearly examination we have our college theory and practical examination every 2 monthly.we have laboratory study once in a week to do practical study.
Admission
After passing P.M.T I got rank in state merit list and counselling was conducted in st.George Dental college Mumbai.so I attended my counselling round and got my admission letter and later join my medical college. Administration of medical college was good.
Faculty
We have well qualified faculty for all subjects.our all faculty members were postgraduate in their subjects with MBBS and MD qualification. And their appointment was according to MCI guidelines. All faculties have deep knowledge in their subjects and very interested in teaching their subjects.
