- SRC campus of sastra also have b.tech degree in which there are low facilities.
- SRC campus does not have hostel.which is a major problem.
- no problem students never wants to fear about placements.Both campus students get placed equally.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen B.Tech CSE because day-to-day life is full of technology. That is why I have chosen this course which will be having the biggest revolution in future. Faculties are well trained and all the faculties are doctorated. The faculty-student ratio is one to seventeen. Qualification is not only meant to be their degree. The way they teach will amaze us. the majority of the faculties are Ph.D. holders. The exams will be normal like in other colleges and universities. we will have three CIAs per month and at the end of six months, an end-semester exam will be conducted.
Internships Opportunities
Google Wipro amazon paypal are the major companies that offer the highest packages. Internships will be six months in duration The stipend varies according to companies. many projects from students are also done in university. and research areas are vast.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee will differ according to the semester. the first semester starts with 92,000 (include all other one time charges).and ends with 1,00,000.and in between have to pay exam fee according to number of subjects. They also offer students welfare funds. and those who cannot afford fees can also get educational loans from outside banks. and jobs will be according to the students skill.There are more MNCs visiting sastra and hiring many students .stiphend also differs according to the company.
Campus Life
Usually, SASTRA conducts an annual fest called "KURUKSASTRA" which is very famous and a tech fest called "DAKSH" through which many workshops are made available to students even from outside colleges. You can't imagine that there are thousands and lakhs of books in our university library. There is a separate block for the library where we can find any kind of books, journals, etc. the classroom is properly ventilated, smart projection class is also available. SASTRA is best in its sports activities. we have volleyball, football, cricket, tennis, etc. Many tournaments are also conducted. artzgumbal is the one club I know .and there are many clubs for other language students too through which they can outcome their talent.
Admission
The eligibility for any B.tech courses in SASTRA UNIVERSITY is to average +2 marks in any board exams across India and +JEE mains score. And 30% of seats are allocated for the Thanjavur and Trichy students. The application form, fees, and deadline dates are available on the official website of sastra university. Admission to sastra university is purely merit-based. I would say that compared to any other university, SASTRA is best in its admission process because its importance is only to the meritorious students.
