Likes

Campus life is really good with a big campus surrounded with trees.
Placements is gauranteed for everyone with decent package.
Sports facilities are decent in the college along with gym.

Dislikes

Hostel rooms are really pathetic with 5 people in room.
Mess food is horrible with a plain menu.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE because I have a passion towards it. Faculty in the college are highly qualified most of them have completed PHD. The exams are relatively tough compared to other colleges and the exams are more based on application based.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 325000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are good for cse. The average package is around 500000 for all branches and 800000 for cse. 90% of the students will get placed in cse. My plans after my degree are to go for a job and later purse higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee was 325000 during the year I joined but increased to 375000 this year. Scholarship can be availed via the AEE rank during the admission process but we have to maintain a certain cgpa to continue it.

Campus Life

Anokha is the anual techfest of the college. Sports facilities are available in the college. We have a international standard swimming pool in college. The library contains many books and journals. The classrooms are BYOD friendly.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are very bad as of now. Per room 5 people should stay which is very suffocating during summers. The room doesn't have proper furniture as well. The mess food is horrible if you are someone who loves spicy food.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

Have to write the AEEE exam which is available for online/offline options in 2020 but apparently, only offline mode is available. After getting an AEEE rank we shall have a counseling process online where we can choose the required campus and branch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Amrita and its Dubbing voice

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
