Course Curriculum Overview
Telecommunications department is one of the most uprising departments where the scope for it tends to increase day by day.the faculty are managing their wrk excellently in order to persue their vision ie. to give the society a good amount of professional engineers
Internships Opportunities
The college does provide internships.in first year our college got us to travel from Bangalore to mysore and do a certificate course on digital switching system in BSNL.
Placement Experience
Bmsit has got excellent placement.the pupil who are eligible for placement do get placed with a good package. More than 30 companies visit our college and get students into their companies.the college also provides placement training activities which focuses and teaches on how to attend placements and how to behave.
College Events
There are many cultral and technical events that take place in my collage. The main college fest is called utsaha.it is held every year in even sem. There are many technical fests conducted by different branches.people from our college and other colleges respond in a very healthy fashion.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I am a cet student. The fee structure is affordable to a middle class person. My fees is 65 thousand inclusive of everything. It takes different fees for different students.management fees varies frm cet cet fees. There is an extra charge for placement training.where professors come from different places and teach us.the placement training fee is 2 thousand

The college provides scholarship facilities.it helps each and every student who scores well. The amount it provides is 10 thousand.
Campus Life
Bmsit has an excellent campus.the campus is huge,calm, peaceful,and green. The colg is filled with greenary all around it.the gender ratio is almost same.there are equal number of guys to the number of girls. The college has NCC facility. It has a gym in it. It has sports department who takes care of different intercollege and intracollege competitions.
Hostel Facilities
The college has 3 blocks of hostel for students.it has excellent hostel facility. Hostel is provided with facilities such as wifi,etc The bathroom facilities and wardrobe facilities are good.the warden is helpful and the mess food is also very good.it provides varities of food according to a time table.it provides special menus such as cold drinks and juices or buttermilk during summer.
Alumni/Alumna
Bmsit is an antiragging supportive campus. There alumni meet held in every sem to introduce the students abt different companies. Seniors are also helpful and friendly.
Exam Structure
Bms institute of technology conducts 3 internals before we attend the external.the three internals are conducted to give confidence to students and to know what they have studied. There are also two lab internals conducted before the externals.the process of internals is chilled out because it will be held on monthly basis.
Admission
There was an option entry.where we opted seats in the college based on our ranks. The seats were fortunately available and i got a seat in telecommunications department. I had to pay the fees by a challen in the college.then i got my admission into this college.
Faculty
Faculties are well educated.most of them have secured their PhDs.they are friendly and helps the students to whatever extent they can.they help with theory and labs.they conduct activities so that the pupil do not get bored of theoretical stuff.they stay from morning 8.30 to 4.30 and will always welcome their students for any doubts and queries.
