Entrance Preview

I gave MAT and CMAT an cored 600+ in MAT . I opted this college because of the return in investment it gives compared to other colleges of the same category.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is helping me to have holistic development, not just in academics but personality development too. Also the college gives various opportunities to be developed including various cultural competitions and academic conferences .Its wholly a student driven college where in all the activities and programs are coordinated by students . The USP of the college is 365 days working.

Internships Opportunities

yes ,the college provides excellent internship with all the top companies coming in to hire interns by offering them minimum stipend of 10000-15000 and maximum upto 50000, subject to the companies requirement and student's performance.

Placement Experience

Placement in our college is 100% with currently of about more than 70% of our seniors placed ,been offered maximum 1400000 by VEDANTA and average of 6-7 lakhs . The top recruiters are Deloitte, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI, schindler , piggeo, Mahindra, Amazon again offered 1300000-1400000

Hostel Facilities

The campus has 3 mess facilities and tuck shop and canteen the food quality and taste is very good with ample of options to choose from the hostel has spacious rooms and is equipped with safety and security of all the students living in hostel is also very neat and clean.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Exam Structure

Exams are very hectic as for every subject we have 2 surprise tests and 1 final exam of it. Passing all the exams is a big challenge for students because of the hectic schedule with this hectic schedule of exam we are being prepared to handle corporate pressure and challenges.

Admission

I registered online and filled the form online, then the whole process was conducted by the college in my city (Bhubaneswar) we had a GD ,essay writing ,extempore and a personal interview .There were about 85-90 students in the process.It was a whole day rigorous process of selection.

The faculty of the college is backed by minimum 15-20 years of corporate career ,the college has a world class level set of faculties. They are always ready to guide the students in whichever way possible ,without failing to solve their all queries.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though.
