Good College

The college has a good faculty and location. Only thing that the BPIT has to improve is the Placement of Students. No mass recruiter had come in the college and placements were quite less. Also ,college should provide guidance about internships.

I had given IPU-CET . I had scored 10230 rank. In the second counselling ,I got admission in BPIT and I took the ECE stream.I opted for this college because it comes under A category in IP university. Also , the locality of college was very good and and faculty was good. It is also very closer to rithala metro station. I had heard about the placements in college that many good companies visit the college.

BTECH in ECE requires a good knowledge about physics. 1st year was easy as subjects were related to that we studied in 12th class. from second year, the course becomes difficult . But thanks to indraprastha university, the marking is easy and you can score good marks if you study regularly or give full potential in the month before exams.

No, the college didn't provide any internship. This is one of the drawback of BPIT. They even do not refer you to any company or institution. You have to find it on your own. But, Faculty can guide you with the relevant companies.

In 2016, around 11 companies visited the college but none of the company took more than 10 students. overall, from the strength of 400 students in college. only 68 were place on-campus and around 90 students got the placement off campus. But CSE and IT branch students were maximum to take the palcement . In ECE branch, around only 30% got the placement. Average package offered by the companies was 3.5Lpa.

Cultural fest of BPIT is organized by the end of february each year.. it lasts for 3 days. 1st day, it is all about technical events and various competitions, battle of bands happen in second day and various dance competitions also happens every year. In the last day ,some celebrity visits the college and make a rocking performance.

the annual fee structure is around 95000 per year. For the BTech college, the fees is feasible. the college also approves education loans and provide 10000 subsidy for the reserved categories. They do not charge any other fees . As every BTECH college has average of 1 lakh fees, so it is fine enough.

Loan facility is available. They provide you with the letter of authentication, through the letter, you can apply for loan in any bank.

the gender ratio of boys:girls is approx 60:40. Parties are organized every year and their is good campus life. you can take part in college band , street drama society, fashion society and various sports tournament. 80% of crowd in college comes from delhi . there is no discrimination in college.

Girls hostel is provided in college. But, there is no boys hostel. Canteen is pretty good. I can even say that is is the best in Indraprastha university. It provides you withalmost every variety of food. the food provided is hygenic and quite cheap. Proper sitting is also available. Outside the college , you can also find many popular outlets like dominos, BTW etc.

seniors of college are pretty helpful. they organize freshers party for the 1st year students and they help you to join various cultural and educational socities in college.

In every semester, their were two sessionals , internal and external practicals and in the end written external examinations. Only, first month is easy , but after that ,it becomes quite hectic giving exams and exams.Even , 50% attendance is compulsary, so you cant prepare at home also. You have to attend classes as well.

In the second counselling of IPU, I got admission in BTECH (ECE).After the university counselling, I visited the college and verified my documents there and then I paid the fees for my first year. Then my admission was confirmed.

The faculty in college was highly educated and perfectly trained and have good practical knowledge of their own subjects. Some of the faculty was very helpful and they help you with making projects, solving doubts, reports etc. If you want extra classes, if they get time , they will definitely provide you.
