Remarks

There is a good thing and it's that it is a proud feeling being at IIT. But bad one is that half of the students are reserved candidates becoz of whom IIT name is damping actually it is a govt issue. It should b stopped soon

Entrance Preview

I took JEE exam. I scored 150 in JEE advanced. I opted by JEE advanced counselling. In 2016 I gave JEE mains then I cleared it and then gave IIT main paper or JEE advanced.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is a very flexible college I mean it is tension free. There is no pressure to perform . The labs are very good. Course is of 4 years and there are various curriculum activities going on parallel so we don't feel any kind of pressure in studies and the college is very reputed. So placements are also very good

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provides internship. Of course. It is a big name in India so various other colleges from abroad make forign exchange programme. And the placements are also very good

Placement Experience

5

Placements are quiet good espicaly in today's world like. Various big names are visiting the campus and the along the students. And the package provided are very good the average package is about 15 lacs Pa which is quiet good for today's competitive world

College Events

4.5

Prizes Worth: Fest Name : Rendezvous 2016_cultural fest of IIT Delhi October 2016. Event Description. It gives me immense pleasure to introduce you to Rendezvous 2016, the annual cultural festival of IIT Delhi, which is the largest cultural festival in northern India

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for 2016 Batch, Program, Tuition/ program Fee, Campus Maintenance (per year), B.Tech. 2016 Rs. 1,05,000 /- (per semester) $4000 (per semester)# Rs.15,000 /-, M.Tech. 2016 Rs 2,50,000 /- (for full program). Rs.15,000 /-.the fees is quiet high but it's free for reservation candidates. This is wrong thing in my view.

Fees and Financial Aid

Institute Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships. The Institute offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships to under-graduate students in engineering and technology. These are permissible to about 25% of students. The present value of Merit-cum-Means scholarship is Rs. 300 per month for general students and the recipient is exempted from paying tuition fee. The 4-year B.Tech., 5-year Dual-degree and 5-year Integrated M.Tech. students are eligible to receive Merit-cum- Means scholarship at the time of joining the Institute.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are 13 hostels, 11 boys, 2 girls. Hostels are well maintained if you talk about security, 24 hrs clean water, internet, electricity availability. But here is the catch. In most of the hostels, there are 3-4 floors and no lift. There is only ONE water filter only at the ground floor in my hostel. The one at 2nd floor is not functional since months and is never gonna be. Students have to come from 3rd floor to ground floor to refill drinking water. Two newly constructed hostels have lifts and better water availability at different floors. These hostels have bigger rooms compared to other hostels. You have canteens and night canteens at almost every hostel with decent rates.

Alumni/Alumna

Sundar Pichai chased his starry-eyed technology dreams and is currently the Senior Vice President at Google. Responsible for the launch of the dominant Chrome web browser, he was previously the product head for Android, Chrome, Maps, and other popular Google products. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree from IIT Kharagpur in Metallurgical Engineering. Holding an M.S. from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he was also named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar. He is one of the most renowned and successful IIT alumni at the moment.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very good here we have 8 semester system which we have to complete in four years . And exam paper level is moderate main focus is on subject knowledge and the faculties check the answer sheet by their own. During practical we have to preform very well nd even isn't very hectic work but we have to do it coz we will get placements becoz of this.

Admission

I got admission by my knowledge and my board marks. It is amazingly to be a part of this prestigious college. I first filled JEE mains form then I gave the test. My center was kota. I was also taking coaching for this particular exam. By a famous institute of kota.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are just very renowned. All over the india and even worldwide, the faculty IES are also qualified from various big colleges. They are very punctual nd same attitude for all students weather first ranker or last. Overall they are very highly qualified and they know everything about their subject

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA.
