Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really great, I love the variety of subjects from semester to semester. The exam structure is the same for every semester with 75 marks for written exams and 25 internal marks. The college abides by university rules.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 18930 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am in a self-financing course and hence I am unaware of scholarships but yes our teachers get us events, internships, training etc. Sometimes those aren’t Paid and sometimes not. The experience in what matters during graduation Yes the college offers two unpaid internships for FYBMM students.

Campus Life

A lot of sports including basketball, football etc are being played by the students. A Multipurpose sports gymkhana is present in our college which has yoga, bodybuilding Equipment and a lot more. Events also occur in regular intervals

Admission

My name appeared in the second merit list, I went to the college before the list and got my certificates verified and the admission process started online and then I pay for my course fee something around 18930 for the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Mass Communication

Course Curriculum Overview:

the timings are great for students who wanna work while studying, but that only starts in the SY because in FY there are lectures from 10 to 1, that will give youll time to enjoy as a student, where as in SY n TY lectures will be from 7 to 9

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.

KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.
