A decent college with ample opportunities

It is affiliated with UPTU(AKTU) so it follows the AKTU curriculum. The faculty is quite good and helpful. Most of them are Ph. D.s from reputed institutes. The first year is a little hectic but gets better each passing semester. We have 2 internal exams and 1 external exam.

Various hackathons are conducted on a regular basis and multiple internships are also available like Internshala etc. You can excel in some programming languages and then get internships. Many of my seniors from 2nd and 3rd years have cleared GSoC(Google Summer of Code) this year.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. The placements are pretty decent as nearly 100% students got placed last year. Every student gets at least one offer and some students get more than one offers. 6-7 lpa is the avg package and the highest climbs up to 40lpa which only 4-5 students get. Major companies visited include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Capegimi, Mahindra, Bajaj etc. My plans are to get a good internship in the 3rd year and get a good package in 4th year.

The fee structure is decent. It's around 1.4 lacs per year if you don't opt for hostels. If you opt for hostels it goes to around 2.5 lacs a year(including hostels). There are various scholarships that one can avail like the UP government scholarship and the NSP(National Scholarship Programme). You can also get an education loan or choose to pay your fees in installments. The campus jobs are decent and getting better every passing year. This year's (2022) avg package was 9.14 lacs per annum.

Tech fests are held every two years. And Genero is the annual cultural fest which boasts of having some big names from the music industry. Genero 2023 had Sukhe Musical Doctorz and Akhil performing on the stage. The books are provided to every student from the book bank present in the library. You can also read other books available in the library. The classrooms are all air-conditioned and well-maintained. Sports and other extracurricular activities are also conducted but in the first year, you have to focus more on the academics. There are various clubs and societies run by the college which provide you with ample opportunities to showcase your talent and also spice up your college life. Some of the prominent societies include Kalakrit, Salaah, Creative-U, Talentrove etc.

The rooms are mostly 4 seaters for the first year students. You can get single seater, double seater, triple seater and four seater rooms from the second year onwards. The quality of the rooms is good. They are cleaned every week and the rooms are decent. Both AC and non-AC rooms are available. The food quality is decent and you won't miss your mother's meal most of the time. The registration and room allotment process for the hostels is simple you have to talk to the warden and pay the fee in the accounts office. There are pgs also available nearby if you want to opt for them.

The eligibility of the course is to have more than 75% in Class 12th boards and to have appeared in JEE Mains. The admission is made through UPTAC counselling through JEE Mains score. You get some reservation benefits if you belong to OBC/SC/ST/minority.
