Our College has great coding culture. Technical society of our college works continously to improve the skill of students according to their interest.
Placements are Good .Our College Placements are growing exponentially every year.
Seniors help student to learn new things and new technologies to improve skillset of the student

Dislikes

We don't have our permanent Campus. But our temporary campus is good to live
Sports facilities are Average. Sports facilities are limited .
Fees is little bit High . But loan facilities are available.

Electronics and communication engineering is a great course to choose.Faculty are quite good and friendly we have both young and experienced faculty in our college . Our college provide planned curriculam that ensures that we get education according to industry demand.

Internships Opportunities

Our College students are doing internship at very good places like DRDO , IITs and other big organisations.IIIT Ranchi is responsible for project involving the 14th regiment of "The Grenadiers".It includes digitalization of the battalion's data.And also created platforms like E-vidya Vahini.

Placement Experience

Placements are good you can check the official website for accurate stats . All major companies like amazon ,flipkart ,adobe, intel ,atlassian .etc have visited our college for on - campus placement .Highest package is around 84 lpa .Average package is around 14 - 16 lpa.Around 90% students are placed this year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is little bit High .Fees is around 2.5 lakh per year .Our college helps the student to get scholarship like state scholarship and other central scholarship. aAnd our college do not provide any scholarship .Placements are good .

Campus Life

College life is decent in our college . Our annual fest name is ephemere. House of geeks is our technical society recently organised a hackathon and It has different wings . Sports facilities are good and our college participate in many events.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good and we live in a 2BHK flat each room has two person.Mess food quality is Average . Hostel rooms are alloted to the students during physical reporting . Hostels have Wifi and other basic facilities.

Hostel Fee: INR 32000 per year

Admission

Admission at IIIT Ranchi is through jee mains Exam . You can take admission by clearing the JEE exam get sufficient percentile to match the cut-off.You also get benefits of resevation.You can get admission through JOSSA and CSAB counselling.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

Choose Future, not Present

I had several other options like NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur, BITS Pilani etc... Now in all the tier 2 nits i would have got either metallurgy or civil at the best but in BITS Pilani i could've got ENI but the fees there was 33 lkh for all the 4 years so it was not affordable for me. This was the best option keeping in mind my rank, roi and fees. You can get here by applying for jossa or csab after you have given jee mainsa and you will get a seat if you get good rank....Read More
