Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen BA in Multimedia & Mass Communication as i was keen on knowing more about the media and entertainment industry. There are 2 divisions comprising of 60 students each. All the faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. The college also offers visiting faculty that is currently working in the media industry for a deeper insight into the subject. The teaching method includes the usage of teaching aids such as power point presentations, live and practically backed projects, videos and images for better understanding. Exams are conducted every semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is justified according to the facilities provided by the college. In the case of students who cannot afford the fee, the college offers an array of scholarships and financial assistance options. You can find more information about this in the college office too

Campus Life

This college has a lot of cultural activities including a general festival Goonj, and a lot of departmental festivals including Cutting Chai, Mumbai Dreams, and Techtris. The sports activities and dance clubs and also extremely active. the college library has an updated collection of all kinds of books and also has a digital navigation facility to refer to your desired book.

Admission

The eligibility here is on Merit above 60% for all streams. All the admission-related details are available on the college website. I did not avail of any reservation benefits but they surely are available in our college. The admission process through the college website is extremely smooth and clear and does not need any improvements whatsoever.

College for students who wanna Hustle

Course Curriculum Overview:

the timings are great for students who wanna work while studying, but that only starts in the SY because in FY there are lectures from 10 to 1, that will give youll time to enjoy as a student, where as in SY n TY lectures will be from 7 to 9

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Wilson college :- Summary

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.

Remarks:

KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.
