I liked the college auditorium it's too big and spacious.
The campus at my college is too good it also has a basket ball court
The college canteen provides tasty food which actually tastes like home made also there are many food options available.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I am interested in journalism and media. The faculty members are very nice. They teach in a manner that is understandable by every student and also clears our doubts. The exams weren't that hard as the teachers explained the subjects very well and hence it was easy to write the examination.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable. I'm not sure about the scholarship provided or financial assistance and campus jobs. But my course affordability is pretty good. Not sure but I guess my college does provide scholarships to the weaker economic sections.

Campus Life

Campus life is too amazing. There are many fests held here in our college and all are well-organized and fun. All subject books are available in the library as well as many other books are available too. There are clubs like the nature club, the cultural club also different groups for various fests like fashion show groups, dance groups, drama groups, and so on. Overall campus life is too good.

Admission

The admission process was online. I got SC reservation benefits. The updates were posted on the college's official website and the process was very smooth and nicely organized. I didn't give any entrance exams.

Reminiscing College Days

Placement Experience:

There were cmapus placements but not very enticing. Since I already had a full-time job with BBC GoodFood India Magazine as i already cracked this job first in my college.

College for students who wanna Hustle

Course Curriculum Overview:

the timings are great for students who wanna work while studying, but that only starts in the SY because in FY there are lectures from 10 to 1, that will give youll time to enjoy as a student, where as in SY n TY lectures will be from 7 to 9

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.

Remarks:

KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.
