Course Curriculum Overview

I Want to have good knowledge about the media industry and to learn good Communication skills I have chosen this course. The faculty are very helpful. All the faculties are post-graduated and have good knowledge and experience in the field. The exams are always held on time every semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy is very accommodating. There is an availability of financial assistance to students who are needy. We have received lots of internship opportunities. We are very happy and satisfied with everything.

Campus Life

The annual fest of the college is "Goonj" held in December every year. Even we have our Annual BMM fest which is very popular for its uniqueness " Cutting Chai", held in the month of February every year. Books are available for reference in our college library. Faculty teaches with the help of power point in the lectures. There are many sports and extracurricular activities available for the students in the college, sports like weight lifting, badminton, cricket and many more, and activities like NSS, cultural programs and many more are organised for the student's development.

Admission

Eligibility of the Course - above 50% from any stream. All the information is clearly available on the college website. Did not avail of any reservation. The admission process is very simple and smooth for RD national college.

College for students who wanna Hustle

Course Curriculum Overview:

the timings are great for students who wanna work while studying, but that only starts in the SY because in FY there are lectures from 10 to 1, that will give youll time to enjoy as a student, where as in SY n TY lectures will be from 7 to 9

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.

Remarks:

KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.
