Life in B.Ed at Satyam

I choose my degree in education due to my passion for teaching students and helping them adapt to their future in the community and society. The curriculum is according to the guidelines of UGC and SNDT University. The faculty including all the teachers and staff are extremely helpful and polite. The exams were held timely and were adequate to the prestige of the degree.

In the fourth semester during the four months of internships, the college hosts college placements. It has schools like ASPAM Scottish and DPS in it. I have too been placed with the college in the first round itself. The faculty aids the students in the placement to the best of their capabilities.

There is an option for getting 5000 if the student enrolls another student in the next batch in the form of a reference. The family members also get a discount. Students having 90% and above also get a scholarship as well.

The annual fest called Navya takes place. It's organized, managed, and coordinated by the students. We have a well-functioning library with online availability of journals as well. We have sports, dance, and theatre in the college in the form of extracurricular activities in which some are free while others are not. For now, it doesn't have any clubs but they will be soon started as the Alumni group.

The forms could be seen and found on the college website Satyamcollege.in. The application fee is 200. There is an entrance examination. The only thing I feel I should give an improvement suggestion upon is that it would be great if an AC auditorium could be made for the seminars or functions as we have none.
