Course Curriculum Overview
I get to know about biotechnology from our science teacher in class 10 and I find interest in it. It is a good course for those who want to pursuit in the research field. faculty and students ratio is good enough there are some very good faculty helpful in nature.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available our seniors got internships in IIT, ICAR, and DRDO biotechnology. Paid internships are also available but these all depend only on the student's own intelligence.
Placement Experience
The college placement is average (5 to 6 LAP). If you are planning for higher education like MTech so you will get enough time to prepare for GATE or want to get in iit. A number of GATE qualifications are high in our college this year from our biotechnology department two students get selected in IISC Banglore for M.TECH.
Fees and Financial Aid
This is a government college so fees are not very high for the first year it gonna cost you 72000 for the first year .fee hike is not seen yet in recent years. A scholarship of 65000 is given for the general category every student can fill out the scholarship form. On-campus job placements are average around 4lpa to 5lpa.
Campus Life
Annual fests are SHANKHNAAD a techno-cultural fest in the month of May and there is AAROHAN in nov-dec for the freshers and the annual sports event AAVEG in March - April these are enjoyable events of the college. books and journals are available in the library. it is a government college so forget about amenities there are desks in good condition and fans in the classroom. campus life is not very good I can say but obviously one can easily find their bonding with others.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels for normal boys(non-handicapped) are not available on college campuses its available for only girls. Hostel fees for normal boys are 26000 and 1 sem flooding charge is 19000 and the 2nd sem flooding charge is 13950 although the hostel which is provided by our college to normal boys is 5 km away from the campus and food quality is good because we are facing these problems. Management of the hostel is more so if you want to take admitted to this college there are PGs available in good amount near the college.
Admission
Admissions are taken from jee for all branches except biotechnology, for biotechnology students have to give CUET examination. yes, there is a reservation for minorities and handicapped students. counselling is done by Aktu and all other admission processes are done in college in offline mode.
