The course curriculum is designed according to FFCS in which credits are awarded according to the completion of the courses and the courses are designed according to the necessary lab hours, projects, etc.

Internships Opportunities

Yes VIT, provides internships for every student. The internship program was excellent. The college provides industrial visits to the students for exposure to the industries.

Placement Experience

3.5

placements are good. This year Amazon 3-4 students from the ECE branch for 26 lacs per annum. It mostly depends on the in-depth knowledge and performance of the student's Hindi placement exams conducted by the companies. Companies like Fiat, escorts, titan, Ford, futures first ect took my seniors last year. Honda took 1 student from both Vellore and Chennai campuses. Placements are easy but getting a dream company difficult here.

College Events

4

The college conducts many College Fest workshops competitions and conferences. There are many technical fest college cultural and other fests. Some of the fests like technovit 2017, ICMDCS 2017, Indian space conclave 2017, etc were conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's not too high Total fee-1,76,000( including caution deposit) The scholarship will be awarded to selected students

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship plans for VIT. Toppers of each state board and Central Board are awarded a hundred percent tuition fee waiver for all four years. VITEEE rank holders of 1 to 50 get 75% of tuition fee waivers for all four years. In the same way rank holders of 51 to 100 get 50% of tuition fee and 101 to 1000 get 25% of a tuition fee waiver for all four years. Loans are not required because scholarships awarded in large amounts.

Campus Life

4.5

VIT was good at extracurricular activities. It gives an equal preference for Academics and extracurricular activities. The facilities for good. There is a gym, football Court, basketball court, swimming pool, Indoor Stadium, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels were above average, food is good, and hostel charges vary accordingly, Single occupancy - 73,365rs Double occupancy - 60,083rs Triple occupancy- 54,045rs Four occupancies -. 49,215rs Six occupancies. - 45,593 rs All charges include caution deposits(10000rs) The above-mentioned costs are for non AC rooms The extra money will be charged for AC

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network was quite good .they interact very freely with students. They truly contribute to the overall development of the college. Their suggestions really help us during interviews.

Exam Structure

Yes, there will be many tests and labs which makes students feel bored, but it's ok because those are for skill improvement.

Faculty

4

The faculty is a bit strict. Faculty members have expertise in their courses. They are helpful and give their best to clear the student's doubts. Some of the faculty members are not that knowledgeable but the core faculty members are excellent.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.
