Silver Oak University Review

I chose a Bachelor of Computer Applications(BCA) because I was interested in coding and the demand for coders is increasing day by day. The exams were on time and the exams were a bit hard but it was fairly easy to pass. The faculties were very friendly but were strict at the time necessary and the teaching is also very good. Lectures are not much boring and you get to learn new things every day.

Internship opportunities available at the college were all verified by the university staff beforehand and the roles and responsibilities offered were very diverse. Many companies provided internship offers at a good stipend. The students working in an internship were given special extra lectures every week to catch up with their academics. Before joining an internship, the college faculties would take their interview to make them familiar with the environment when giving an interview and boost their confidence. After the students pass the interview provided by the college, they are interviewed by the company's staff. If the students are able to crack the interview, they can join the company as an intern. In the internship, the students are given training for a week and then are provided with some work.

The fee structure is 20000rs per semester and there are 2 semesters in a year. The exam fees were 2500rs which was not included in the 20000rs/semester. Other 750rs were charged every semester for Professional fees. Some placements were provided by the university in collaboration with other companies. The stipend was also generous.

The campus life is very good. There are tons of places to eat and there are various workshops located on the campus. Every year there are many events occurring at the university such as Junoon(Annual Fest), Garba, Tech Fests, Sports Week and much more. The library is also very spacious, quiet and has many books to read and learn. The classrooms are also very spacious with room for every student with 2 students sitting on a bench. There are many clubs in the university that are run by students and are supporting the university.

Admission was easy and smooth. The eligibility for the course was to pass out 12th in any board and have a minimum of 50%. The admin department will guide the student on where to find the application form. The application fees were 10000rs which was to be paid at the time of filling out the form. This fee was divided into 2 parts, 1st part was Security Deposit which was 5000rs and the other 5000rs was converted to the course fees.
