Life at ANITS

This is one of the good colleges in Visakhapatnam. Rules and regulations are followed very strictly. Good ventilation facilities are provided in the classrooms. ACs are provided in the computer labs. So many programs are conducted like fest, freshers, etc. Workshops are conducted on campus and in individual departments.

There are two ways to get an admission first one is completion of 10+2 from a recognised board and the second one is completion of diploma AP EAMCET and AP PGECET are the entrance examination I entered by writing AP EAMCET

At present there are 19 courses offered by our college, out of which 14 are for UG and 5 are for PG.

The one and only drawback faced by our college is that it offers no internship facilities to the students. The students have to apply for internships on their own.

It seems like good recruitment have been there in our college. My super senior batch's topper has got a 9.3 CGPA and when coming to salary offers, it seems like the highest package is 13 LPA and the lowest is 3.4 LPA. The roles offered to students are chief executive engineers, etc.

We have many events conducted by our respected department like department days etc and many other national events .

College Fee is INR 90,000 per year, fee reimbursement given by the govt, nearly 80% of students get scholarship, yes loans are available and loans are given by students loans schemes.

About 80% of the scholarship is funded by the government for the students.The percentage may vary depending on the rank in your eamcet exam.

The students at ANITS get an opportunity to show their skills in various sports and games.

The hostels are good and Wi-Fi is available all over the college and the hostel. You can get get everything inside the campus but you cant find a xerox shop. you should have the capability to live in double sharing room.

The interaction with the alumni is good. We have a good platform to interact with the alumni. this is possible because of the department days conducted by seniors when we are freshers.

The labs are conducted very frequently and make us stressed out but they are very useful for learning the concepts. The exams are little tough but whats the point in achieving in easy exams. One feels satisfied and contended if they get good marks here.

Maximum faculty members are retired professors from Andhra University while the remaining are from IITs and NITs. We got the industry exposure and the course curriculum is useful. All the faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. When coming to student and faculty ratio, it is 12:72.
