B.Techadmission at IIT Hyderabad is done through online counseling. Counseling organized by the college is held for those candidates who are shortlisted through the screening process on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in JEE. After the allotment of seat candidates need to submit the requisite fee and required documents for verification.

Course curriculum was very good where a student shall be getting overall exposure to outside world and technologies. Every course had an insight and understanding which depicts the real world examples. All Courses had same subjects during first year and in second year all the courses were deviated into their own specialisations and subjects.

Yes college provide internship opportunity .They are giving fellowship according to MHRD rules. They are paying 12500 for M.Techs and 25000 to 28000 for PhD students. It is good for every student to study here.

Placements were pretty much good compared to all new IITs. The average package was around 10-12 LPA, the highest was 40 LPA and the lowest was 4 LPA. There were many companies visiting the campus thus providing enough opportunities for placements. Nearly every student can get an internship opportunity if they apply for appropriate firms. The stipend depends on how you work at the firm.

IIT Hyderabad has 2 fests. One is technical fest called 'Nvision' where technical competitions like robotics, programing, etc comprtitions are held. Another one is 'Elan' is cultural fests where DJs, Rock bands, cultural activites, etc will be held.

Fee structure is feasible as they were central government funded institutions and they were helpful low income students whose parental income was less than 1 lakh per annum. Such students had scholarship. Fee structure was reasonable at that time around 40 k per semester.

No i do not know about scholarship. There is loan facility in IIT Hyderabad. State Bank of India has a scholar loan scheme which covers most of the premier institutes like IIM’s, IIT’s, BITS, NITS etc. IIIT-H also being a high profile institute, it has to be there.

The student life at IITH has been and continues to be very eventful. There is very visible flow of energy at the hostel with a lot of energetic students laughing, chatting, running around and having fun. A whole lot of activities are carried on at the hostels. Students keep themselves involved in a lot of activities in the hostel. Students perform extremely well in several extra curricular activities apart from just excelling in academics.

Hostel facilities were world class and every student would love to get such world class facilities. Buildings are seven storeyed hostels. All kinds of sports grounds and we'll furnished. A multipurpose gym was well built. Music and recreation rooms were well built. Huge stages and open stands are ultimate open places.

The alumni interaction was excellent.We have good alumni. We will arrange every year alumni meet in our campus. They will share out side experience. It gives good experience for us and them.they truly contribute in overall development of the college.

Exam structure had two quizes and end semester exams in one semester. In a year they were two semesters. For four years they were 8 semesters. All the exams also had lab exams as part of end semester exams. Lab activities included, programming, coding, machine learning, Digital signal processing, operating systems, embedded systems, micro processors etc.

Professors are dedicated and hard working. They all are PhDs and are working on their research areas extensively. We can approach them anytime in their office. Being a new IIT with fewer students, the faculty-student interaction is even better. IIT Hyderabad follows what is called fractal academics under which you explore the breadth of all the subjects and then can choose to go deep in what you like. This allows us to choose our own course curriculum after 2nd year (some courses are mandatory). There is no concept of mid sem or end sem, we follow a continuous evaluation which I think is good as it doesn't burden us with the whole syllabus at once. Students have a different curriculum according to their branches right from the first year.
