Happy Days of my life

I spend very good time here. It was very near to the beach. I enjoyed alot during this time. Management was also good.

Admission was on merit base of M.Sc marks and thanks to God that i had the enough to get seat in this course. The second year of this course was a project in some petroleum companies thats why I opt for this course.

The course curriculum was too good. Every thing about petroleum field. Each and every aspects was taken in the course and this helps me alot to do my job in petroleum field. When i joined in oil field, i had knowledge about all operation that what is going on.

Many companies had tied up with our college to provide internship like Cairn India, Oil an Natural Gas corporation, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation, Hardy Oil etc. My project was with Gujarat State Petroleum and my stipend was 10000 rupees per month.

Placement was good specially for my senior batch. In my time there was crisis in the markets so less placements from my batch. Mostly students were absorbed by the companies in which they were doing the internship. Cairn India given the highest package of 10 lakhs per annum, ONGC 7 lakh per annum GSPC given 5 lakhs per annum.

Event like fresher party and Fairwell party for seniors is celebrated time to time and we enjoyed alot. Singing dancing, seniors sharing exoerience was very good. The big event is Petrofest which is conducted by our director every year in December. People coming from all over the country for this event.

Fees was a bit expensive to pay. Rs. 70000 per year is not easy to pay and lodging fooding extra. Expense for study material also. So total is too much for one year. But in the second year when i went for internship so i was getting 10000 stipend per month that was little relax in the second year.

No i did not availed any scholarship or loan but there was lots of scholarship was there in the university. And there was loan facility also by the SBI of university branch.

Gender ratio is very good here and the campus life to the Andhra University is fabulous. There are lots of things to do in the campus. I have did M.Tech only but these 2 years is the best part of my life. There are lots of events and programs are running in the campus.

My department was far from the campus so it was difficult to stay in the hostel but some students were staying in the hostel. The hostel room was very small and the bad thing was if you are staying in the hostel you have to pay for the hostel mess also.

Senior are very helpful here. Whenever any senior coming here he share all his experience with us that was very helpful for us.

It was semester system. Twice in a year there was major exam, In between some test were there but it was not too hectic . Just at the time of semester exam some pressure on head otherwise it was ok. Some online test was also there but it was fun, just sit

The teachers were very much intrested to teach. All were very qualified and were retired from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. So they were having very good field experience. They share all their experience and it helps alot. Now when i am working in
