Veltech University haS NBA and NAC accreditations certificate. It is AICTE approved. They offer Mahatma Gandhi scholarship to the meritorious student of every state. The lab facilities are good but for the mechanical branch, the machines are obsolete and you can't perform some of the experiments in each semester. You don't have to worry about ragging and any other chaos because they have excellent committee members to deal with it.

The admission to this college is done by private exam VTUEEE conducted by the university itself.VTUEEE 2017 is an All India Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by Veltech Dr.RR & Dr.SR University for admission of B.Tech degree Programme through single window counselling.The question paper for the Entrance Examination shall be based on a common minimum syllabus drawn from syllabi taught in dierent State Boards in India.

Since the college is deemed university so it follows their own curriculum. According to my opinion the curriculum is of top class and some additional courses are also included for the best. My first year has good no. Of subject , it was good same as like as other universities.

Is there but with one of you signed university in china was opportunity to do final year in foreign university people can go abroad and can do their last semester in mou signed university as an intern.

The placements for mechanical was very bad although the students have a good knowledge of the subject. The core companies for recruiting mechanical students were only 2 in number. Only 1 company offered a joining letter for the selected student. But for IT, CSE and ECE, the placements were excellent and more than 30 companies visited for recruitment. The salary was average and some offered low wages but that is okay for a fresher. Companies like Wipro, IBM, Polaris, Joho, IBPS etc. visit frequently. For mechanical, Quest Global is a regular visitor but does not offer a joining letter for all the selected students.Average salary ranging from Rs. 4lakhs-3.8laks

In my college we will not celebrate cultural but every year he conduct national level conference. Mech & Civil jointly conduct this conference named "INOMAS". As it is National level conference many students will participate in that conference and the main think Is that management will give entire permission to the students it is full and full conducted by students.

The total fee for btech CSE in Veltech University for one year is 1 lakh 20 thousands this year i.e 2016 . But the fee differs for the specialization course like CSE data analytics,cybersecurity.

We have scholarship for sc/st students, I don't the name for scholarship and the amount. And for other caste too we have scholarship. Other than oc we have scholarship. This scholarship is availed only for consulling students.

The Music Club students of Vel Tech University participated in Riviera’16 which was organized by the Vellore Institute of Technology College The students from our University took part in the Light Music Event.Riviera’16 is a 4 day national event and is well known for light music. The event offered 20 minutes for each band. The University provides a hostel complex comprising of 4 hostels for men. The four hostels include International Hostel, Hero’s Hostel, Lords Hostel and Balaji Hostel. They have a total capacity of 2000. The hostel complex is for first-year students only. The complex provides facilities such as a mineral water plant, north Indian and south Indian canteens, Lord Balaji temple, gymnasium, salon, library, indoor games, computer lab and plenty of playgrounds. They also have an open auditorium.

The alumni are connected by social networks but still it is found to be inactive.

PhD faculty members are more in number. The professors are friendly and help us in subjects. Mentors are allotted for a group of students and he takes care of the students, finds out their problems and solves them through interaction. The course curriculum is good, not so hurried, and gives the students enough time to prepare well.
