Class timings are students friendly, it is not so hectic schedule as most people think. It provides such an environment by which students are always on their toes. The project professors often help us in our projects. They teach us in a more engineering-point of view.

For taking admission they conduct their own entrance called MU OET, which is an online examination. You can select the date and time according to your convenience. It is definitely not as tough as JEE MAIN but not too easy also.

MIT offers B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in several engineering streams such as Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Science, and Chemical. There is an Optional change of branch in III semester against vacancies based on the first year performance.

No, College never provided the internship. I did my Internship in Ernst & Young with reference from University. The stipend was 5000 INR monthly.

The placements were decent and the companies that visited the campus featured some of the big names like Amazon, Accenture and many more. Most of the students who underwent the placement process got placed, with the highest going around 12 lakhs per annum and the average being around 4 lakhs. Many students also got internship offers from these companies.

We had the intercollege festival in Manipal, Mangalore campus. Went to take part in Deepwoods ( Madras Christian College), Christ College and many more. As we did Management course, faculties prioritized academics more than cultural events. We had an industrial visit to JWT, Himalaya, LV Prasad Studio etc.

The course fee is about 14.11 lakhs for 4 years in B.Tech. About 100 students get 100% scholarship and loans can be obtained easily.

There are many scholarships like merit cum scholarships, economically weaker scholarships etc. Loans are also available at this college.

Manipal University encourages students to be actively involved in extracurricular activities

The hostel was shared accommodation of two in a room. Food was also provided by private catering company. The quality of the room and food were excellent. Manipal also offered transportation from hostel to college and to city. This was all pricey tough. Hostel Accommodation was close to INR 15000/ month and had to pay a years rent ahead.

The seniors here are very polite and gentle. regarding the alumni , we have many famous personalities like satya nadella (ceo of microsoft), mohit suri ( ceo of nokis corporations) and many more.

We had three internal exams that we had to score a minimum of 60% and semester exam. And separate internal exam in the form of Presentation, Case Studies, Assignment, and Thesis. It was chilled out as media is something that I could relate. Overall it was hard as there were lots and lots of assignments to clear.

All teachers are highly qualified and know a schematic manner of teaching. We have a lot of projects to do some in groups and few individual project.
