Library is just fine but the librarian is a big skull head who never listens to anyone. Moreover, labs aren't any great either. There are few positive points too that I would like to mention, first, it close to main city. So finding a place to hangout is not a problem, second, you get a chance to meet a lot of entrepreneurs.

The students who qualify in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) get the first preference and get admission directly. There will be no interview as such for the admission of the candidates.

There are electives which students can opt for based on the interest. Electives like Cryptography, network security, data base security, operation system security are the core subjects for the M.Tech Cyber Security.

The internships are done by the students as per their opportunities.The college can only assist you and go by the internship craze, yes, they do promote that too.

The placements go well and the opportunities are quite good. There are 97.6% students placed in various companies. The average salary package would be 6 lakhs PA. The highest salary offered is 50 lakhs PA and the lowest was 3 lakhs PA. There are companies like Cognizant, Amazon, Infosys, etc.

College gives significant importance to cultural events and events like Gokulashtami, Guru Purnima, Shivarathri are celebrated in a large scale. There is a tech fest named ANOKA which serves as a platform to interact with top business leaders, students and other guests, which is truly a great exposure to Amrita students

The fee is Rs 2 lakhs per year including the bus fees.About fee structure, fee including hostel for a M.Tech student is feasible because of two year course. But even normal colleges are collecting high fees. So when compared normal college with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham with more facilities and opportunities should be feasible.

There are plenty of student clubs in the college that you can choose from art club, dance club, drama club, movie club etc. So it's fun enrolling oneself to such extra-curricular activities. In Bangalore campus, sports infrastructure is still developing there are only a few sports that you can choose from. But that's not the case in the Coimbatore campus they have all kind of sports amenities.

Hostel fees are high with only Vegetarian food. But the water and electricity are available uninterrupted. Yearly hostel and mess fees will be 85,000 to - 95,000/-.

Alumni network is powerful as some of the students who were collaborated with some university clubs visits in a year or so. My seniors helped us in understanding the current trends etc. Yearly alumni meet will be conducted where interested alumni will come and share their thoughts

Exam structure is predefined at the time of academic year curriculum preparation. But department wise, lab exams and other internal assessments will happen on a regular sessions. In between the exams, we will have time to prepare and re-wise the subjects to attend confidently.

The faculty members were nice with students. They cleared doubts at any time, helped in the making of projects and much more. They are highly qualified with doctorates and PhD. They are knowledgeable and have written many books. They used the methods which are easily understandable to the students.
