Remarks

Veltech University haS NBA and NAC accreditations certificate. It is AICTE approved. They offer Mahatma Gandhi scholarship to the meritorious student of every state. The lab facilities are good but for the mechanical branch, the machines are obsolete and you can't perform some of the experiments in each semester. You don't have to worry about ragging and any other chaos because they have excellent committee members to deal with it.

Entrance Preview

The entrance exam for this University is VITEEE .The eligibility criteria for VelTech University, Chennai is 12th pass.

Internships Opportunities

For internship I will say according to my knowledge no companies came. But I will say many companies had came for placement. The placement had started in january and still some companies are coming.

Placement Experience

Placement were not that great initially but then it improved every year with about 50-60% more than before.Wipro was the main company which had come for placement. The packages were not that great it were well below 4.5 lakhs.

College Events

There is a separate student council which takes care of cultural evens and almost all the cultural events are celebrated grandly .No function is left out and any student who wants to participate can do easily by contacting the concerned person.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee is around Rs. 1,20,000 per annum. Yes, the loan is provided by Vijaya bank.

There are various scholarships like mahatma gandhi schoolarship,goa schoolarship and even the university also provides schoolarship to branch toppers.

University has various outdoor gamess like cricket,basket ball,vollyball,batminton.There are various clubs like dance club soprts club like cricket club,karate club,photo shot club, etc in the VelTech University.

Hostel Facilities

Food in college is good and about cost it depend on veg and non veg meal. dining hall is very big with good facilities.There are 7 hostels and the hostel fee is INR 80000per year.

Alumni/Alumna

We have alumni meet conducted by our college so its easy to interact with the Seniors. The share their experience with us and its really help the students.

Faculty

The teaching quality is very nice and good faculty. Teach each and every topic in detail will spend time with each and every student special classes for weak students.Good to taught lessons good practical knowledge very supportive

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues. Admission process in Vel Tech was so simple and Neat First they will be asking for the following Aadhar 10th, 11th, 12th Mark Sheets 12th Certificate TC certificate Caste Certificate Income Certificate Bonafide (if necessary) And then we are requested to pay the full fee amount I joined through management quota. I choosed this college because it got a great reputation and great record of placement. It also got a great infrastructure and facilities. Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
