Remarks

Additionally, I want to talk about the cultural factors as our college is located in Delhi and at the best place in Delhi. Culturally, we get best opportunities by the college. It is not for just studying. You learn so much here, which may be leadership skills and entrepreneurial skills. You can learn anything that you want to learn here.

Entrance Preview

In the Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT] Delhi, the admission is through JEE Advance and the eligibility criteria is pass or appearing in 12th grade. 100% is usually the cut off percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is quite well organised and well planned and it also offers you to have minor degrees in different departments which also includes departments like economics, literature, etc. The industry exposure is mainly during projects or interns. As such, the course doesn't have a pre-planned industrial exposure

Internships Opportunities

Internship percentage is about 70 percent of those who apply. The highest was 80 lakhs, the average may be around 2 lakhs and the lowest will be zero.

Placement Experience

5

Placement is really good here. about 90 percent of the people who want jobs are placed somewhere. The highest is at around 1.8 crores, average at 26 lakhs and the lowest is at 8 lakhs. Around 150 companies visit every year. It's hard to name them all but major companies are Google, Facebook, IBM etc. A practical approach and a very planned schedule are taken on students.

College Events

4

Annual college day celebration, Rendezvous, commonly called as "Rendavu" is one of the biggest event in north India participated by students and media across the regions. Students participates from as far as Himachal, Punjab and Haryana. The nights and events are memorable and still wish to be part of it in upcoming years

Fee Structure And Facilities

according to the reccently updated fee structres of IITs ,Course fee in Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT] Delhi : Rs. 200000 pa.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a number of scholarships available, MCM being one of them. Although most of them are for resereved category students. For those needing loans, there are easily available at any bank of india. Education Loan has been made very easy to get by BOI.

Campus Life

4

There are various clubs in the college. Both cultural and sci tech clubs. ( e- cell , Electronic, Mechanical, Coding etc) ( Dance, Photography, Singing)

Hostel Facilities

4

There is a total of 13 hostels (11 for boys and 2 for girls) in Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT] Delhi. Hostels are also good though old and fee per semester is around Rs 30,000.I am not aware of the cost of PGs outside college but there are many of them in the nearby areas.College food is average and costs are included in the hostel fee itself. Each hostel has its own mess.

Alumni/Alumna

The network here is a kInd of bond. Senior will guide you even after they pass out. They will even be helpful in finding what best suits you to your requirement in terms of summer internship and placement. They will guide you throughout your journey in here ag IIT as well as in outside, personal as well as professional.

Exam Structure

Basic exam structure is pretty common. We have two minors and one majors. Minor weight-age is approx half the weightage of major. Rest all grading, weight-age, scoring is independent to professors whims and fantasy. Some have tests and projects of some weight-age while some have presentations and labs. Not to forget those graceful professors who do have a system of any one minor :D Exams tests and labs do take a lot of toil of ones life but students to tend to develop a knack for these, studying only when the hammer strikes.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty here is the best you can get anywhere in India as they are scholars from different colleges and then they have taught in some foreign universities before coming here. Then only are they eligible to teach here. They do regular research and have a very good knowledge of their subjects. They are very friendly and practical people.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.
