- Less seating space in the campus area & Shops of Food should be more.
- There is no Backup Invertor or Generator when light goes off.
- Number of expenses except from the college fee is high.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have 5 faculty in our CHemical Engineering Department, The faculty are highly qualified and have done their post-graduations from NITs & IITs, The teaching method of the teachers are really good, and the explanation is well. we have mid sem in every month. One sem consists of 6 month period and the end sem our considered in the last month of completing sessions.
Internships Opportunities
College Does not provide any internship, we need to find it on our own. If you have any contacts in any industry or company then only you can do an internship there otherwise college have their own research program.
Placement Experience
From 4th-year 7th sem onwards students become eligible to be part of the campus placement process. IBM, Wipro, Accenture, LTI, Newgen, Sofraseria, Virtuasa, TechM, Infosys, TCS & many more. The highest Package was of 10 LPA and the average package offered is 5 LPA. 50 percent of students only get placed on the campus. I have been placed in LTI & I will join the same.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is high in MITS, due to the number of files and MOOC courses that we need to fill from our side, except for the college fees we need to pay for Membership in any club or participating in any event which has an entry fee. Scholarships are only for SC/ST&OBC category, being a General category never avails any benefits for scholarships.
Campus Life
Events like gaming sessions, food hub activity, Induction programs, Cenarus 2.0, Under25, and Concerts events are conducted in college. The library is quite big we can find any book from any department in one place, Even the library holds Some special books for GATE-preparing students. There is a Cirket team, Volleyball team, Football Team, and Basketball Team at MITS, MITS actively participates in intercollege and Extracollege events. There are so many Student Chapters & clubs that embrace student personal development.
Admission
I have written JEE main Exam in 2019 and secured a 5 lac rank (rough), I set for counseling for different courses in mits but due to my high rank I was allotted chemical engineering, the application forms were available in the institute itself, and the faculty who were monitoring the counseling session were very polite and helpful.
