My college experience is very good so far.

All over IIITDM is a very good college, only some things have to be changed related to administration. All the faculties are so helpful excluding one and students here are one of the finest students of the country. My overall experience in this college is the mixture of good and not so good feelings and yes I recommend this college to every one who do not get good IIT or NIT after their JEE exam. I learnt so many things regarding my courses and gain so much of practical knowledge that I can apply in any product based company and they will never reject me. I make friends here for life time. Some of them are very smart and some are not but all of them are good humans.

I wrote Jee-Mains to get admission in IIITDM Jabalpur. No there was no interview for the admission. I choose ECE here because I always to do research in the field of semiconductors.

B.Tech in ECE is really very good course and I choose this course because of my interest in the semiconductor field. IIITDM has taken my research initiatives so far, one them is Project-Based Internship in which we students do projects and research in which the field of electronics, mechanical and else.

Yes, there is Internship for the whole semester which is actually compulsory for all. Normally students got internships in ORACLE, IBM, COVIAM, VASSAR LABS etc with an average stipend of 20,000 per month.

Placements scenario is good because almost all the students who participated in placement activities get placed in good companies. Like this year 39 student get the job of 6,00,000 each in Capgemini. So getting placement in IIITDM is so much easy. One can get package high has 20,00,000 per year if he/she is working hard to increase their technical skill during B.Tech program. Average Package varies between 7,00,000 to 8,00,000 per year.

Name of the technical fest is Abhikalpan, the Cultural fest is Tarang and Sports fest is Gusto. These fests are central India's biggest fests. In an average the cost of each fest is very between 5,00,000 - 15,00,000 and in Tarang famous celebrities and some famous bands also come to entertain us.

It is so affordable so study in IIITDM because our tuition fees get refunded because of MCM and mess, hostel accommodations are also very less compared to other colleges. My semester fees including mess and hostel accommodation are 45000 and MCM scholarship is 62000 per year. So it is affordable for everyone to study here.

Yes, the college provides MCM scholarship. Yes, I got MCM scholarship every year. No, problems related to loans is solved by students itself.

IIITDM has more 25 formal, informal clubs for extracurricular activities. Yes everyone here got ample of opportunities to explore themselves. IIITDM have a basketball court, tennis court, football and cricket ground, table tennis room, etc.

Yes, Hostel is compulsory for everyone. Up to 3rd-year B.Tech students have to share their rooms and after that, they have their single rooms. No, there is no PG. Food is not so good here.

We have good networks with our alumni. Yes, college always provides a proper platform for student-alumni interaction. Yes, most of them invite company to the college.

No, There is so much relaxation for going class or labs.

All of the teaching faculties have Ph.D. degree. Most of them have done their Ph.D. from IIT's and some of them have their Ph.D. from foreign universities like Bristol, etc. They are interactive enough to solve any problems faced by any student in the institute. The classroom in the college is very decent and all of them are equipped with A.C. and projectors. The standard of teaching in IIITDM is almost similar to good IIT's as almost all of the faculties have learning experience of IIT.
