Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course as I have an interest in this subject and there are various job opportunities available regarding this course. Faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable, they are friendly and supportive. Assessment is conducted every week in every subject which helps us to improve our study and complete our syllabus timely.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Amul, nestle, and Britannia visits for placement. Woodland, ILS, and Apollo different hospitals offered internships with stipends. The internship opportunity is great and the placement is also good. In hospitals, placements are available as dietitians or nutritionists.
Placement Experience
After 4-5th semesters students become eligible for campus placement. For food and nutrition course companies like Nestle, Amul, mio amore and medical areas hospitals like woodland, ILS visits for placement. The average package is 1 L per year according to companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are 90K for my course, It is a 3 years course in BSC hnrs Food and nutrition. Scholarship opportunities are provided. SVMCM Scholarship is available. Campus jobs are available with stipend. Placement opportunities are also very good.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted in December every year, other fests, and tech fests are also conducted per year. All types of textbooks and storybooks were available in the library. Cultural club activities are present. Sports and extracurricular activities are also conducted frequently. A dance club, sports club, and singing club are present that is run by the students.
Admission
My course is BSC.(hnrs) in Food and Nutrition. My eligibility for my course is 55% marks in 12th in food and nutrition and chemistry. The application form for admission is provided on the website of KEI. Application fees approx. 300/-.
