I choose cyber security as my course because I understand there is a big scope in cyber security in the future. Cyber security is a course about protecting data from hackers and making the data secure. In Karpagam College of Engineering the faculties and friendly with students which makes the students more comfortable with faculties. The Qualification of faculty is master's and they need to write an entrance exam conducted by the college. The exam is conducted by the college because karpagam college of Engineering is an autonomous college affiliated with anna university. The exams are conducted based on the semester. The result is published on time.

Companies visiting college will provide us with internships plus job offers. Many companies visited our college. Junior Software development Engineer and Fullstack developer roles are more likely taken as internship activities.

In karpagam college of Engineering, they are mainly focusing students on placement. The placement training will start in the 3rd semester onwards and the training continued till the student gets placed. The campus placement companies will come at the end of the 6th semester and after the 3rd year, the final year is full of campus placement. Last year 90% of students got placed on campus.

The fee structure is one lakh and 25 thousand per annum except the hostel and mess fees. And when the admission takes they ask for donation fees. I didn't get any scholarship while studying there, but some of my classmates got some scholarships ( whose annual income should be below one lakh and 80% marks needed in plus two exams).

There are many functions conducted by the college. The main function is durva which is a college function and there are many functions like Pongal, Onam, etc are conducted in college. There are sports and extra curriculum activities conducted on campus. Almost all sports are supported.

Karpagam College of Engineering Coimbatore admission process is rather simple as the students get admission based on their qualifications or entrance exams conducted by Anna University. To get admission in the field of engineering the basic requirement is that students should have a 50% total in their 10+2 exam. They have to appear in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) test conducted by Anna University. On the basis of marks scored in the test and 12th percentage, a merit list is prepared and students get admissions.
