I am very thankful that I got into NIT-TRICHY . It grows a person as a whole and prepares them for corporate life by giving real life problem Solving skills of working in a team and discussing diverse opinions and coming to a conclusion. The thing which needs to be eradicated will be the curfew for girls beyond 9 pm on weekdays and 9:30 on weekends . The overall experience of my college life is a treasure because we don't know when you will get a new opportunity to learn and explore something new.

Well NITs are dream for many and I was one among them .I wrote JEE Mains and secured a admit . There was no interview process . I chose Metallurgy and Materials Science owing to the development in the field of Material Science.

Practical learning is the most important factor in NIT Trichy an institute of National Importance. There are around 15 research clubs by students varying from Aeromodelling to Robotics and others . We might have to choose around 10 from more than 50 electives in the final two years.

The college guided many students to getting core Internship for students based on their future needs and career goals

Placement is way better usually 95+ percentage enrolled student gets placed with an average salary of more than 8-9 lpa The highest being 40 LPA

Festember is the cultural event conducted during September which hosts around 5000 students every year. Pragyan is an ISO certified tech fest of NIT-T with a footfall of 4000 students showcasing Thier Technical skills and exhibiting Thier projects and we had guest lecturers from Noble prize winners to famous cricketers

Fee structure for my batch is 70k for tuition fees per year and 25 k for food and hostel per semester. Completely better when you compare to other Colleges and there are lot of scholarships too.

Scholarship is awarded to all SC/ST students and for general students we have Merit cum means scholarship. Yes ,I was given a scholarship by the college owing to my good academic history and also helped me to get education loan with less interest rate from UBI

There are around 200 clubs in college performing Various activities from Dance troupe to Astronomy and many more. Name a field you can find a club in NIT-T . Facilities are really good and must be improved further .There is a Student Activity Center for the same where the club members meet and do projects and plan for activities and events.

Yeah ,hostel life is great. There is dual occupancy rooms for boys and girls have triple occupancy for first two years then get single rooms.

We have a peer to peer connection and everyone are easy to contact with help of Recall -Alumni meet and connect team of NIT Trichy Alumnus usually find a lot of money for college development and give scholarship to those in need

Exams are not that frequent with flexible curriculum implemented , it's better for the upcoming batches.

The faculties have post doc and have Research experience in various industries in abroad and they give.
