Great exposure and plenty of opportunities

Overall college is good in terms of placement. they focus more on studies. overall experience is good in the campus. My college life was boring from starting except for hostel life. the main thing which is focused on in this college is only studies. We do get to see many things except studies but the main focus is never diverted from the studies.

I just gave JEE MAINS exam in 2015 for this college. There is no entrance exam specific for this college. You just get admission through JEE MAINS rank. My rank was 41180. The Cut off to get Computer Science in this college was around 56000. There is a process of counseling for admission via ranking basis of JEE MAINS. The lesser is your rank, the more chance of getting a stream of your choice.No, there was not any Interview Process for admission, just the counseling process. Actually, I am not interested in this course. I just took it because the whole crowd of our India wants to revolve their life around the world called "ENGINEERING" and that too in Computer Science. So I also took it. But I must say that this college is made only for Computer Science geeks. I mean this college provides so many platforms for Coding in Computer Science like online contests of coding. they even encourage to do questions on good coding sites like codechef, hackerrank, spoj, etc. If you are living in a hostel, you get to see many people doing coding on these sites. So you also get an environment for coding.

The course is very good for those who chose to take an interest in this stream. Many Projects were there for practical learning.No, I don't think so that any research initiatives are taken by institute. But yes like in 5 sem, There is electively named 'Principle of Management' in which we are given the project in which we have to make a research paper for this elective related to topics of management. Many electives are there in different semesters. Like in 4th Sem: Electives were Computer Graphics And Image Processing or Fuzzy Logic etc. and some HSS electives (like some extra electives related to economics etc.: Quantitative Method Of Social Sciences or Introduction To Sociology, In 5 sem: ELectives for the computer were: Artificial Intelligence or Software Engineering HSS electives(electives for general use in life): Nuclear physics and Engineering, or Quantum, or Basic Numerical Methods, etc.

No college doesn't provide internship. you have to see for your internship for yourself.

Placement Scenario is very good. I am not bragging for my college placements. But our college Placements is very good. Although this is not IITs or NITs still Famous Companies come to our college. the percentage is I think 150% as told by the college. Average Package is around 3.15-3.8 lakhs/annum

Fees are affordable to the middle man. Btech fees program: Tuition Fees and including other academic fees :2,00,000+1,00,000(with Hostel)=3,00,000/year All Hostel rooms are Air Conditioned with 2 person capacity.

No college doesn't provide any scholarship. But if you have any person inside jay pee department. you may get Scholarship. because my friend got 1,00,000 /year off.

College is good in terms of extracurriculars. Yes, we may get opportunities to explore our talent. but College dont provides any fees to go outside to play some game in different college even if you play for college team also. there are many hubs which give many opportunities to do something like PERFORMING ARTS: Jhankar, the Dance club organizes all the intra college and inter-college dance activities. It is one of the most loved and sought after clubs in the college with all the fun, Masti and Dhamaal LITERARY ARTS: PAROLA Parola refers to ‘word’ in Italian & was therefore chosen to be the representative of the Literary Hub. The Literary hub caters mainly to Debate, elocution, Turncoat, MUNs and Youth Parliament. Parola Literary Hub is a place where all students of JIIT are welcome to engage in free speech, debate, and merriment.

Yes, I am residing in the hostel. As I told earlier, Only 2 persons can live in a particular room. means the total of 2 persons can reside in the room. No, they dont have PGs. I paid Rs.1,00,000/year for hostel.in which Mess facility is included. Food is very bad. We get food 3 times a day. I Think that breakfast food is normal and eatable. but Lunch and Dinner is not very good. And Sometimes very bad.

YES, exams and labs we very frequent making me feel tired at the end of the day. We have 3 exams sessions in particular sem and generally, in every 1.15 months, we have to give exams. Labs are a total time waste. just 2-hour of waste.

Faculty are very much qualified. They are not so interactive but some appear to be good interactive persons when they give practical life examples. Access to my perspective, Faculties are not so experienced. Many are having P.hd degree but these degrees are valid only to show. as they dont take part in teaching up to that mark. If one wants to study, he/she has to study himself/herself. Yes, the teacher can clear doubts.
