so I choose this college over other colleges because of the comparatively smaller batch size wrt other colleges and also because of the research driven curriculum that is followed i also applied to iisers but since I had a knack for computer science i choose this college there saare a lot of ways to enter but i came in through the ugee mode its an exam conducted by the college only where there a written test and then u r shortlisted and then there's an interview of the shortlisted student and after that u get a rank and according to that rank u get a branch alloted i got AIR 75 and the topmost and the most sought after branch CSD...Read More

There are different modes of admission in our college like Jee rank, 12th standard marks, etc. There is also a mode for students from foreign countries. You can find all the details about it from www.iiit.ac.in. There are no reservations based on caste. The admission process is a little bit hectic since you have to pay around 2 lacs if you have a course and have to wait for other rounds for upgradation. Admission process was very good , good facilities provided, iiith is the best college to come to , but yes , studies are very tough here but its quite manageable, seeing all the other people you can manage it easily . application form can be found at the iiith official website , EACH and every information can be found there. there i no reservation in iiith as this a semi-governmental college . i found it is very good that there is no reservation. no the admission process is completely fine, but one thing , the dasa seats should be reduced dasa is direct admission for students abroad....Read More
