Yes, the college is good. It is helping me a lot. But at the same time, its not good for those who don't study. Because if you are regular with studies only, you can score marks. Overall the college is good as the faculties have deep knowledge about their course and subjects.
Entrance Preview
I gave entrance exam named as "Comedk" as i am not from karnataka because student of karnataka get admission to this college through cet entrance exam. I gave entrance exam and through counseling i got selected in this college for the btech course. My enthusiasm and parents appreciation made me to choose this course
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course btech in CSE. The course is good from my prospective because i came to learn about many things in the past two years. I came to learn about 4 programming languages.For the practical knowledge, there are lab classes going on in every semester for atleast 2-3 subjects. By the help of this, students came to know about the practical knowledge of the things that are taught in the class lectures. Yes, the college is motivating the students to make projects. They are providing students with such good ideas to projects and helping them too to make projects. Elective options are there for the students in the last year
Internships Opportunities
No. The college doesn't provide internships. Students need to search and go for internships. I have done one internship till now and 5 workshops
Placement Experience
As the college is new and i am in 3rd year and my batch is the 2nd batch. My seniors are of 1st batch and they have just now entered the 4th semester. Yes, one company had came till now and 5 people have got placed when the company came here.
College Events
Every year fest is organized in our college. Cultural fest is good because in this student need to wear different types of dresses based on what college told students to wear like traditional, formal dresses and all. Sports days are also organized for the students interested in sports to show their gaming skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When i joined the college, fee for Non-Karnataka students was 2 lakh 5 thousand for 1st year which includes first and second semester. This fee is only for education purpose i.e., tuition fee. There is hostel as well in the college campus which charges 50000 for a year in which 10000 is refunded when you will leave the hostel.
Fees and Financial Aid
I never opted for scholarship. My friend from karnataka is getting scholarships based on caste category as he is OBC. So, he gets scholarships every year. No, the college is not providing loan and college is strict in taking fees within fixed data otherwise extra fine have to be paid
Campus Life
College is organizing sports day. There is playground too to play different games. There is gym too. There is library as well. There is workshop where student can do projects
Hostel Facilities
I am not residing in hostel. Hostel room are goods as my friend resides in hostel. I used to go to his room in free time. Room is sharing as 2 students are residing in a room. There are seperate things for both the students in a room like wardrobe, bed, table, 2-chair. College is also having PG named 555-PG.Mess fee is 4000 for every months which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Food is good only for south Indians as north Indians can't eat south Indian every time in a day
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. There is a alumini student meet after every term test so that they ask for the improvement from there side in teaching
Exam Structure
Yes, the lab and exams are frequent. Lab occurs for 3 subjects. For each subject, once in a week and lab manual has to be submitted on the next lab as this is the deadline to submit the previous lab manual. In one semester, 2 term test of 25 marks each and 1 semester end exam for 100 marks occurs. We need to submit 2 assignments as well for all the subjects we have opted for in a semester. Overall, exams are good but assignment are tiring as it is so big and time taking but we can learn many things through assignment
Faculty
Faculties are well qualified and they are very good in spoken with english. Teachers are having depth knowledge in their respective course. They are giving their 100% in class. But they are few teachers who are so good in English because of which they are not able to make everyone understand in the class. Practical knowledge of the teachers are extremely good because they know the basics properly. From my viewpoint as an average student, i can tell that teacher are helping in my every doubts and they are teaching in a good manner
