Entrance Preview

I gave UPSEE entrence exam. After qualifying upsee exam and by the way of counseling i landed into this college.. There are no interview process to be fallowed. I am currently doing this course bcoz I'm interested in Technology.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course i choose have better opportunity for job and for freelancing too. We have 6 days classes in a week in which more than half are practical classes of 2 hours. No, our college does not take any research initiative.

Placement is Worst, 30 to 40% got placed. Companies came like TCS, ifixit, directi and gave starting packages of 2lakh/pa.

Somehow college is affordable for everyone.. It just cost Rs. 57000/year and for SC/ST they have special discounts too.

Hostel Facilities

I am residing in Hostel. Hostel rooms are worst.. They have broken windows mirror, not have enough accommodation for student. In the room of 4 boys 6 boys live.. All the rooms of hostel are sharing room.. No PG here.. We pay a lot for hostel i.e Rs 57500/yr. Food is the only thing which is worst & waste at this prize.

Exam Structure

Yes, exams and labs are frequent and after doing all classes and labs we feel exhausted.

All the professors of my college are a PHD holder. But, some professors are new having less teaching experience & some professors have teaching experience of 10 years or more. They are not too much interactive. I will give 5/10 score on standard of teaching

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

There were better option like IET, Lucknow and private colleges in Noida but firstly I wanted government college and secondly near my home town. That's the best option was IET Lucknow but my score in jee mains that was 86 percentile didn't allow me to be in IET. And don't want to take a single drop for preparation. I cleared my 12th and gave April session JEE main exam. The admission process is very simple. After your JEE result keep eye on UPTU website for registration process. As soon as you register before counseling you will have option to choose list of your choice college. Then there will be 4 rounds of counseling if get the college accept it and you'll get seat allotment letter. My score in UPSEE entrance exam was quite good to get any college in the state but I made a choice for iert because of its legacy, and here we got enough time to pursue our hobbies and to study for next exams like GATE, ESE or UPSC.
