Course Curriculum Overview
I had an interest in Game development and graphic designing that's why I chose this course. the staff is helpful and the administrative is good of the college. Faculty qualification is ok because there are some teachers with the best knowledge and some with less but the mix up of both them is ok for the students to study and the main point is you have to study it by yourself no one is there to help you just teachers will give you notes and all study material but latter you have to study by yourself.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities is given to all the students who get elgibile for the work and have a good cv and knowledge of the work . under internship mainly the companies offer students the tester and basic roles like system tester and they are being taught how the work is to be done it can be said to be a training cum internship.
Placement Experience
for college placements the students are being eligible from 6 th sem the companies are good and well known like tcs,infosys and many others average package ranges from 5-8 lakh and it's normal for a fresher. my plans after my degree are to freelance for my design skills
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees of college for comedk students are really high compared to other students and scholorship there are scholarships for j&k students by the centre govt they provide free education for the students to study.
Campus Life
Fests are being conducted but only there are two fests one is Maitri and the other sanskruthi the second one is the big fest of near about 1 week and other than that branch fests are also being conducted which are also good.
Admission
There was an entrance exam named COMEDK for the students who are outside of Karnataka and the exam is easier than Jee or other Engg entrance exams, with no negative marking and the syllabus is the same as that of CBSE, Through comedk there is no reservation granted just at the time of addmission they ask and the reservation of comedk is for the minorities of Karnataka and tulu minority, the exam fees was around 2000 and later for counselling you have to pay the college fees for it. The admission process is the best and most transparent.
