I really like my college experience.

Overall the college is upto the mark! Whatever is expected from the college is always fulfilled.

I gave the entrance exam held by MIT.I was always interested in coding and so took Computer Science and Engineering.

The course is okay. It's more of a theoritical course. We do have labs but that doesn't give us that much practical knowledge. There are many electives offered to us. We are given electives from every other branch to choose from.

The college also provides us Internship opportunities in the 3rd year. About 15 Companies come to the college for internship interviews and exams and about 60 people get through the internship process. The stipend is ranging from 15 thousand to 35 thousand depending on the company and work profile.

The placement scenario in my college is again above par. About 70-80% of Students get placed. There are all kinds of Companies that come to Manipal, from Microsoft, Amazon to Intel, Infosys and TCS. The average package would be around 6 lacs.

There are many clubs, both technical and cultural, in Manipal who conduct events and workshops throughout the year. We have our tech fest and cultural fest every alternate semester. There is a huge participation in both the fests. Colleges around Manipal come to take part in our fests. The college authorities are always supportive of the fests and help in any way possible.

The fees is comparable to other colleges in India. It ranges between 2.5 to 3 lacs depending on the course.

MIT also gives scholarships to students based on their ranks that they get after the entrance exam. I didn't manage to get any scholarships.

As mentioned above, there are many clubs in Manipal and almost every sport is played here. So there is a huge scope for extra curricular here.

There are multiple hostel room options given to us. There are single and double sharing rooms. Both have two more options of AC and Non AC. The hostel facilities here are really nice. There are many messes here out of which we can choose one. The food here is normal. It's not the best but is edible. My college experience till now has been really nice. The hostel facilities and infrastructure is really nice and we'll maintained. The mess food is not the best but is edible. There are alot of hangout places in Manipal so life here doesn't get boring too often.

I have a very tight schedule here. Depending on the semester I have 2-3 labs every week. Hence I have 2-3 full days and rest half days. I have frequent assignments and have 2 mid semester exams. So as a whole, it does get tiring sometimes(on full days) but is also chill.

The faculty for my course is not the best in my college. But there are many professors who have great knowledge. As a whole the Faculty is average. The faculty is quite interactive. They are always available to solve any doubts. As I said, overall the faculty is average.or just above average.
