Everything about MERI

I chose this course because I was interested in business and wanted to know how everything works in a business financially, economically, socially, and technically. The average faculty: student ratio was 50:1, there is 1 teacher for 45-50 students. The qualifications of most of the teachers are Ph.D., they all are well educated in their respective subjects and teach very nicely to each and every student. The term exams take place after every 4 months and the exams are not very difficult to pass.

There are so much and many internship opportunities that are provided by the college, you can apply for the internship after 2nd semester. The role that was offered by the companies was assistant and that is because the candidate is very new to the job and was there to gain experience about the job and all this with a good pay. The projects and outcomes were very good by the companies.

The placement of the college is very good, the minimum package for the graduated student is 400000 and for post graduated is ten lakhs so there is no stress for placement. The students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th or 5th semester. The companies visited for placements are Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, and a few others The highest package offered by the company is 1500000 to a postgraduate student. The average percentage of students for placements is 90. My plan is to apply in companies for jobs and do my own startup.

The fee structure of the college includes all the facilities that will be provided to the student e.g.: library, canteen, trips, entertainment, and tuition fee. There are many opportunities for scholarships which are introduced by the dean of the college and also there are a lot of campus jobs so that the student can gain experience. Fee hike only takes place when there is a rise in fee by the university not by the college.

Life at camps is very good. There is a big garden on the ground where all the students can sit and chill when classes are over. The name of the annual fest of the college was pretibial and it was very good, the organizing committee did great work in organizing the whole event and it takes place mostly around March. There is a big library where you can find all the books you will need there will be no problem finding any book. There are a/c and smartboards in classrooms so the students can understand easily. Sports are also very good in the college.

For the entrance exam, the application process was very easy and not complicated, it hardly took me 30 mins to fill out the full application form. The eligibility to apply for the courses was to be a 12th pass. You can find all information about the form on www.ipu.ac.in. Here you have to signup first and then choose and apply for the specific course and college.
