My college experience was good

College is not so good, infrastructure is very bad, labs are not good, syllabus is outdated, overall experience was good not bad.

I have wrote DCET, my rank was 5000 in DCET,i landed up in the oxford college of engineering through DCET, their was no interview process that was followed, my course was mechatronics in which we will study about mechanical, electronics, computer science and control system so it was a all rounder field and i have studied mechatronics in diploma

Mechatronics course is a good course but in engineering the syllabus is outdated,Mechatronics is a combination of mechanical and electronics ,so we are learning both mechanical and electronic subjects,so it is a good course,We are not much focused on practical learning because in our college equipments are not good and management is not ready to invest money for labs.Yeah we have IEEE research center in our college

Still now college is not arranged even a single internship, if u want to do internship, find internship by yourself and do it, dont depend upon college, i don't have any experience in internship

In our college every year they give placement training in which they teach communication skills, time management and many more, so placement teaching is good, but we wont get more companies for placements, most of the IT companies visited our college. Only less number of students are placed in a company from our department

I have joined college last year and i have not seen any fest in our college, i have not seen cultural events also in our college, but have some of the technical events like quizzes, project exhibition, painting etc. Organization was good for technical events, i don't know whether the college authorities contributed or not

Fees was affordable for me as i joined oxford college of engineering through DCET, my DCET fees was 45000/- and my college was 7200/- so totally i paid 52200/- in 2nd year of b.e mechatronics

College do not provide any scholarship but they help in applying scholarship from government. I have applied for Karnataka pass scholarship. College helps in getting educations loans through banks and lic, i don't know much details about it

1 year ago i joined this college but not seen any extracurricular activities, yeah we get ample of opportunities to explore our inner talent,faculties are good for that not so bad

I am not residing in college hostel but i am residing in sbt hostel ,my friends told very bad review about our college hostel, they don't have power supply,good rooms, food is not good, sometime no water to bath,but they are many PG near our college. No single rooms in our college hostel, college hostel have only sharing rooms

I dont know about alumni network

During labs and exams little bit i feel tired at the end of the exam. Labs are not in a good condition, we wont get correct output,equipment are not in a good condition, so we will feel tired to bring correct output, exams are little bit OK not so bad. It was chill culture for me

Faculties are not much qualified and not much experienced,because some of the faculties are qualified only m.tech and have no experience. sometimes we wont understand what teacher is teaching. They are interactive but teaching is not so good. In our department only 2-3 teachers teaches well, give knowledge about practical
