SOIM- my pavement to my future!

I chose financial services as in my Btech, I was very good in math subjects and I wanted a deep exposure to economics, statistics, and probability which is why I chose this as my major in PGDM, the faculty to student ratio is pretty decent and the teachers of SOIM are very highly qualified, most of them are IIM graduates.

Companies come for taking interns during the summer, some even come one year beforehand and give ppo to the students, such companies are jpmc, providence, microsoft, service now, etc. They have quality projected which are assigned to the students and help them achieve their dream jobs.

I want to work in a big firm after my PGDM and then set up my own business, and SOIM has helped me achieve this dream as my placement season is approaching and many companies are coming to hire us, the highest package was around 40 lakhs CTC last year and the average is about 9 lakhs, 95% of the students get placed.

The scholarship is given in each semester to economically weaker sections and to students who have other backgrounds. there is no fee hike so far I've paid the fees for my 2 sems and it's been going pretty smoothly.

There are many fests which keep happening in the college, there is sports, literature, MUNS, cultural, etc and there is a lot of participation by students in these events, there are many workshops held which enhance the skills of a student, My life in SOIM has been very great considering how much time I spent in the library with many resourced and books, even the classrooms are very great.

I Applied with my ICET Telangana score which was 97 out of 200. The application fee for SoIM was 1250 puppies and I called the admissions office which further helped me with my admission process I think the process happened in a week or so, I got a call to the GD round and then the PI round, and I was offered the seat in SOIM.
