Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties of Sastra University were excellent. Every faculty was very friendly to their students. Their teaching method is also very friendly. Exams were very easy to clear. So no problems with their exams.

The placements are very excellent as we expect. More Mncs are recruiting our college students expecting basic skills and fluency in English. My plan after getting my degree is to do Ms in abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure at Sastra University is reasonable and payable. More Mncs visiting Sastra University and giving them a decent package also. There is more availability of scholarships also. So students have many ways to develop their skills etc.

Campus Life

Sastra University has excellent infrastructure and the social life was very peaceful and joyful The Library is fantastic. They give more space to participate in sports and extracurricular activities etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel at Sastra University was ok, not bad, and the faculty was also very friendly and responsible. Hostel foods are in the range of average etc. The Rooms at Sastra University were in an average range etc. Totally the hostel range was average.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Sastra University is a deemed University located in Thanjavur. So TNEA is not required for admission only through 90% of JEE entrance exam and 10%of the 12th scores. Application for was available on their websites itself.

Interview Experience

Written exam I have told previously that JEE main is the only entrance exam kept in their university. By that exam, their selection is made off. Based on their JEE scores and their 12th scores it was taken.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Yaahh I had appyfor other colleaes also like lpu ,vit, EAMCET.. reason is why iam not joined in that college is to 1.in lpu I got seat alsoo but that college is soo waast and for me it will be more distance.2.in vit i didn't get cse so I rejected it .in EAMCET i am not interested I got below 20k rank but...not went to that .
