Dislikes
- Weather condition in Central university of karnataka is un predicateble we can not do predict the temperature and climatic conditions in the university.
- Not more but we will face some difficulties in the transportation because it is far from the city of Kalaburagi erstwhile Gulbarga
Course Curriculum Overview
My academic year is from 2022-2024 where we will get training as professionals with field works, and interventions in schools. All the faculty of the social work department are well trained with the completion of PhDs in their respective fields. For us, we have 4-semester exams twice a year.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are based on the department and student interest. For us means the Department of social work will provide a internship of 2 months where we can do internship in any place. And department of social work has also fieldwork, and life skill training for adolescent children as a part of school interventions.
Placement Experience
There is a few companies visiting the campus for placements to the students like Ajim Premji Foundation and a few other companies. Even though only a few people get placed in the placements drive but there is good value for a university degree certificate. I am planning to do Ph.D. after my post-graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Opportunities are quite well. Fees hike is according to the UGC. Scholarships are provided to the students by the national scholarship portal based on different conditions some of the students will get scholarships from their respective state governments.
Campus Life
At the Central University of Karnataka, there will be an ANKUR fest once a year for both students and facilities. Students and teachers from each school participate in both cultural events and sports. Classrooms are well furnished with central AC and digital boards with a pleasant environment. The university's central library is available for the students along with e-journals and computer labs.
Admission
I got admission through the national level exam that is CUET which is conducted by NTA. The university will take students on the basis of marks along with reservation. Application for the CUET exam should be found on the NTA website with a 600 rupees application fee.
