Remarks

I guess it's a typical,avg,Indian engineering college which is better than some other renowned college which charge far more than this college n yet provide u did the same kind of substandard facilities. they've uploaded NR hostel ,jpnagar campus pics on website ..it's misguiding n substandard

Entrance Preview

Comed I was initially interested in medical exams but due to family resentment I was convinced engineering would suit me better ..my relatives asked me to get admitted in a college in Bangalore preferably Oxford as it close to their place ..biotechnology was the Alma mater for a person like me who loves biology

Course Curriculum Overview

I feel that though its progress is relatively slow in India ,biotech is indeed a promising career option..our Dept staff is supportive when in comes to practical learning (but method of teaching is very conventional,teachers mug up contents) current research topic-bioremediation in oil spill using fungi(on its way to get patented)

Internships Opportunities

It won't provide stipend but recommend to institutions like iisc,biocon ,etc

Placement Experience

The college management has added up a few fake placement tie ups I believe coz some of the major core companies in biotech don't prefer our college ..it's good for depts like car,eee n OK for bt

College Events

College doesn't spend a Penny on fests..it has to be sponsored n in case u got no sponsors .. believe me it treats us worse than a preschooler ..go to class or u don't get ur hall ticket in case of attendance shortage

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's been structured by VTU around 50-60000 ₹ for CET students..management students pay in lakhs ...PS:I got through ComedK but since I'm from other state I pay 1 lakh..awkward

Hostels accommodations costs around 70-80000 per annum irrespective of no of ppl..the diet gets way to tedious after a point..isn't really appetising..I would recommend repairs and frequent cleanings in washrooms

Exam Structure

Chilled exams aren't that stressful anymore ..PS:and that's what engineering does to you

Faculty

Our Dept has good ,qualified teachers tbut I feel they are way too concerned about attendance than the child's academic interests n extracurricular learning

the eligibily might be from 3rd year. There are several companies such as capegemini hitachi patym dmart. 700 offers are offered. Highest is 25 lakh and average is around like 5 lakh. After the completion of my degree i would like to persue higher studies like MS.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

My kcet rank was 26k and in my mock allotment i got Dayanand sagar University. But I thought universities are not good and I should join colleges under VTU .
