Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to work in the electronics department. I find this course interesting. The Faculty: Student ratio is 1:45 in theory classes and in lab classes is 2:45.All the faculty members are highly qualified and are PhD holders but the teaching style of some faculties is not very good. There are two exams in the semester, that are MID-SEMESTER AND END-SEMESTER. It can be passed easily if we just study normally.
Internships Opportunities
Summer internship opportunities are provided. Big players provide internship opportunities to students. The average monthly stipend is around 20-30k per month which is quite decent and impressive keeping in mind the role of the job.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for an internship after 2nd Year but will be completely placed for jobs only after completing the course and getting the degree. The name of the companies visited in nit raipur are Oracle, Capgemini, Fiat, Cognizant, IBM, Wipro, Samsung etc. The highest offer made by the company in Cse branch is 55LPA. The average package in the branch is 15lpa. The percentage of students getting placed in NIT Raipur is 76.8% according to stats. My plan after getting the degree is to do an mtech from IIT.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee of an ordinary general candidate is 140000/- annually. The fee of an ordinary OBC candidate is 750000/- annually and SC/ST caste students have 15,600/-. General EWS has the same fees as an OBC candidate.
Campus Life
Our college organizes a lot of fests namely Avartan, Entrepreneurship Cell, Eclectika and Samar. All books are available in the library in good quality but not in good quantity. A Sports complex is being made in the college which will be fully constructed in 2-3 years. Other than that a basketball, two volleyball and a common ground are also here. A club called" Go Green" is initiated by students of nitrr to grow trees.
Admission
I was getting this course only at NIT Raipur. We can all the forms and important dates on the website of nitrr bulletin i.e.,www.nitrr.ac.in. There are many benefits for reserved seats that may give heartbreak to a general candidate. SC/ST caste students have fees of 15,600/-.NO improvements are required in the admission process, it's all good.
