BBA at Sardar Patel college

Overall experience is average one can say it's a stepping stone in life just to do graduation but it has a good reputation in the city so it is good.

I didn't write any entrance exam to get admission in the college. It was on percentage basis. No there was no interview process, there isn't any requirement for college. I didn't wanted to go for science and art was not an option so it was the best choice.

The course is good. We only get 1 project so most of the focus is on theoretical learning. No, there are no research initiatives taken by college. There are not much electives open for students other than banking, information technology & marketing.

No internships are provided by college because not much industries are present nearby. We can go for internships in summer holidays. But most of the people are local so they don't go for it.

Not much industries are there in my hometown so there are not much placements provided by the college. But still we can sit in campus placements of main campus. Average package is around 3 lac per annum Major companies are local companies.

Many cultural, literal and sports events are oragnised by college in main campus. Students are only allowed to participate but organisation is done by authorities only. Average footfall is of 1500 people. Oraganisation is of top notch

It is 10,000 per year. Other than that exam fees is taken which nominal. Re-exam fees is also nominal. So the overall fees is just 35000 for three years. No hostel is there for BBA students.

Scholarship is given to students on application basis. But loan is never taken by a student so basically there isn't any need because fees is not much. Only those students apply who can afford it.

Extracurricular activities are encouraged by college but only in the events oragnised by them other than that one's interest matters to go further in pursuing their talents.

No I am not residing in hostel and there are no hostels for BBA students. Although if they want it is available on special permission in B.com campus where there is a hostel for girls only. Fees for hostel 60000 rupees including food for one year.

There is no alumni network. That kind of culture is not developed in college. There is no platform for students to connect with alumni. The alumni do not contribute in the overall development of the college as well as the students.

Exams are taken by University so it is a chill culture. Syllabus is known beforehand and paper pattern helps a lot in exams. But the exam centers are far away so that makes us tired.

Faculty are all MBA which is mandatory for teaching in BBA or MBA. They are really interactive. They clear all the doubts. The standard of teaching is moderate it is not too high nor too low. Faculties are good.
