Course Curriculum Overview

I am choosing this course because it is very interesting, I want to become a plant breeder in future. And plant breeders play an important role in developing new varieties. Faculty - around 280- 310 no. Of faculty members & professors. No. Of students are 1000-1200 Professors have great qualifications they are PhD scholars. And Sr. Scientists & Researchers. The first examination is conducted after two months after class starts and the semester exam is conducted six month intervals. The passing of an examination is not difficult It depends on your Hard Work.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 15940 per year

Rented Room with fans, covert and study table and with the bed are provided. Mess is run by students and the menu of the mess is according to students what they want to eat. Registration is done through the application form filling.

Eligibility-Agriculture/Bio/Maths Group with 60 percentage in previous class 12th are eligible. College Conduct Entrance Examination for admission. Application for examination is online, the college releases the date for examination and application. College gives reservation benefits to students ST-32% OBC-14% SC-12% Gen.-0%

A Review of My IGKV Experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is everything you can ask for. In the last year of the graduation, you are assigned to a village and you get to apply all the theory knowledge into a real field. You also get to learn from a farmer, and believe me, it is the best experience in your college life. In third year, you get to grow crops by yourself in a field. This makes you understand the practicality of the subject better.

IGKV, a very affordable yet very complicated place to live inn

The frequency of exams are okay but the difficulty level is a bit too high based on the classes that they provide us . I don't like their teaching methods all theoretical knowledge and less practical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

course B.sc. agriculture include apiculture ,aquaculture ,entomology, pathology, horticulture, animal husbandary ,forestry , agricultural extension ,agriculture heritage and also some exciting subject like mushroom production technique,etc.so there is diversity in this course . who open many carrier opportunities . this one is follow semester exam system and on a avg.20 theory, 18 practical and 20 midterm exam conducted by univercity.

In IGKV campus after graduation there is too many options for job salary is not so high.. They also inform us each and every agricultural post for which we are eligible . But 70% peoples have their own plans like small business or government job etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The extra curriculum is required for the college in terms of practical work and laboratory department. The exam timing is held in every 6 month. Exam are held in secure and accurate , and full of CCTV cameras.

This course I chose because I was told of the less competition in it and because of that I came in the course and it has various job opportunities in government sectors. In our course we should take more practicals as that's more beneficial for the students.

Placement Experience:

Many Fertilizer Companies, Seed companies, and Private Companies are visited in college. According to the qualifications of students and Knowledge of students they select and give placement in companies. Highest placement up to 4 Lakhs. My plan after getting the degree is M.sc in horticulture.

They are no any campus placement occur in the college. My plans after getting a degree is to prepare for jrf exam for further study and also try for government exams like IBPS afo I also can take job in in IFFCO company.

I applied in CUET PG and i scored well enough to get admission in central university of punjab and similar colleges but i have some personal issues, so i decided to not go to other states other than chhattisgarh and its connecting states. I didn't applied to another colleges, I wanted to study in IGKV so I gave the competitive exam PAT for admission here. And I got selected , only students having chattisgarh State domicile can give this exam . If you are not from chattisgarh you can also give the ICAR EXAM TAKEN BY NTA.
