Remarks

Overall I love the college specially because of the campus and limited students in the college. The only thing I want to tell to any one opting for this college, use it as a platform and start focusing on learning new languages when you can. Engineering helps you in every sector of life and its fun to learn new things every day. I will recommend my college to every one.

Entrance Preview

I gave IPU entrance exam and got 2399 rank. I preferred this college after reading success stories of a lot of students and it was a government funded college so that means, it was pretty economical. I chose software engineering because of my passion for technology. and that's the best decision I took.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course, just like all other courses is mostly focuses on theoretical knowledge and less on practical learning. I will strongly recommend everyone to join any external institution like NIIT to learn more languages while in college.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any internship. I believe its a good thing because then you will do your own research and find your area of interest.

Placement Experience

4

There are both on campus placements and some off campus placements where college coordinators will help you. more that 90% of students were placed at the end of the course, and the rest were placed within 6 months of graduation.

College Events

2.5

There was a big event every year that was mostly organized by the students and college only provided the funds. Because its a small college, footfall was not that much. But events were pretty nice.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was the best part of this college. Because it was government funded, fees was around 35000 per year! and yes its only three zeroes.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships and there was no need for loan.

Campus Life

4

There were not many extracurricular activities organized by college. But the ground is pretty good.

Hostel Facilities

2

There was no hostel there.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet was conducted every year where you can connect to them and improve your network.

Exam Structure

It was very chill culture. Even the attendance was very flexible. In the beginning every college will give you stress, but after you are adapt to the environment, its all pretty easy.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was pretty good but it all depends on the kind of subject there is. They were not very interactive but yes they were knowledgeable.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
