I am having a great time at my college.

It has been fun to study at Oxford College. We have an all round development of students that takes place at our college. We have good infrastructure and faculty along with an affordable fee structure. It provides me with an excellent opportunity to learn and apply my knowledge in various ways. I enjoy the time I spend at college due to the friendly faculty and good friendships. We have a ragging free college and our college is made wonderful by the fact that it provides the students an opportunity to take part in various fests, workshops and other fun stuff in other colleges while also encouraging us to set up new exhibitions and programmer in our college itself.

To enter into The Oxford college of Engineering, I applied and was admitted based on my CET rank. I have joined the four year undergraduate course in Mechatronics due to a personal interest in the along with the scope for development in the field. Our college is one of the only three colleges that provides this course for CET applicants all our Karnataka

I haven't started on the actual course yet because of the system of education in India. We are going through the basics right now so that our foundation is strengthened. Our college gives importance to not only the science and mathematical subjects but also on language and ethics so that we can be confident in our communication skills and our conviction to be a better human being. Equal importance is given to practical knowledge and theoretical knowledge.

The college doesn't provide any internship but it permits the students to obtain internships at various companies so that they have a keener picture of the corporate world before stepping into it.

We had lots of companies that came to our college providing interesting job opportunities. Companies like Book My Show visited the campus and students received an average package of 4 lakh rupees per annum.

Our college encourages students to create and manage their own fests. It organizes major workshops that are academically helpful for the student community. We have interesting and awesome fests that also have competitions and exciting prizes to win.

Our college has an affordable fee structure. I pay around seventy five thousand rupees per year for my education which is excellent because there are colleges that charge you over five lakh per annum. Even the management seats in our college are at an affordable rate. There are students in our college who have applied through COMEDk exams who pay a fee higher than CET fees but lower than Management seats

The college does provide various scholarship programmed for candidates under different quotas. I have some friends who are benefiting from all the scholarships that our college provides.

We have lots of sports teams that have won acclaim at the university level competitions. There is equal opportunity provided to all strictly on the merit basis when it comes to sports teams. We also have a NCC battalion in our college.

I haven't resided in the hostel but I have friends who do. The hostel is close to the college and kept in a hygienic condition. Sharing rooms is common among the students in the hostel. There is a separate boys and girls hostel both of which are well equipped. The hostels also provide good food.

Some of the alumni who are entrepreneurs today are invited periodically to provide motivational and informational speeches. This helps the students to ease into their professional life.

We have exams with a proper gap between them. The material is finished before the exam and small review is done so that more students have understood the concepts and can perform better in the exams. We have well equipped labs and knowledgeable lab assistants who ease the burden on the students.

Our college has the perfect blend of experience and enthusiasm in the faculty. We have junior teachers that are friendly and fun but enthusiastic in the teaching profession. We also have disciples and experienced faculty who are also just as enthusiastic and friendly as the younger ones. The faculty strive hard to make us learn what is necessary.
