- There is a lack of awareness among students regarding their career opportunities after Btech as college is only focus towards IT sector
- The rules and regulations of this college something very frustrating for us as there are lots of rules and regulations applied when you are in college
- There is a lack of innovative minds in this college as college do not provide sufficient motivation to think beyond it sector or private sector jobs
Course Curriculum Overview
Well, I was not very much interested in the Electronics field initially but with time I have now a lot of interest in the Electronics field. There are approximately 25 Faculties in our department and their teaching methods is not very good as they focus more on theory rather than practical knowledge. On average, there is 1 faculty on every 7 students.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities in case if you don't get on your own. There visit several companies like Truechip which can provide you with training and internship opportunities with a PPO of 5 lakhs.
Placement Experience
The placement of our college is good. Last year the placement percentage was 95% overall and for my department it was 100%. The placement process is done by the CCPD department but in case you failed to get a job via campus placement through CCPD your own department will help you to get a job. Well, my plan is to go for higher studies abroad or via the gate.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you get a non-FW seat then you have to pay around 1,28,600 for a year. But you can apply for the scholarship based on your eligibility criteria according to the government. But if you got an FW (Fee waiver) seat then you have to pay around 29,600 for a year without hostel fees if opted.
Campus Life
The environment of the college is quite good. You will get some valuable experience for your life here. The faculty members are very supportive as well. There are various clubs like Samvad Theatre club as well where you can improve your interpersonal skills. An annual sports fest called Utsaah is also organized here apart from this there are various clubs for dancing, debate, sports, chess, and yoga as well.
Hostel Facilities
Well, The hostel facility is not that good here as there are lots of rules and regulations applied here which might be quite frustrating for you. The food quality is good and but the menu is not good but you can change it if you raise your demand against mesh committee members. The registration process is simple for a hostel. You simply need to take a form from the hostel fill it and get the payment done and you will be allocated your room. There is a facility or RO in the hostel as well. The quality of rooms is good and the environment of the hostel is the best thing about the hostel.
Admission
I can to this college via counseling. At that time there was a separate exam name UPSEE in order to get admission in various colleges of UP. I got rank 11008 and got an FW seat in ECE here. The eligibility criteria currently are 75% above in Jee mains and board exams and at that time it was the ranking below 45000.
